The leader's graceful hand gestures led me to think that this might be a folk-revival assemblage (as opposed to parishioners of a local church). The voices were more chorally educated than would be expected from heritage singers in a country church. So did a folk-music society sponsor this?

Folks in this community have a strong practice of this going back generations ... they also sing from lloyds hymnal ...
The chord on the word "Lord" is very different from modern hymnals.
