Mushrooms with garlic and parsley (persillade) is a classic with all kinds of variations, in Italian it might be called funghi la loro morte (cooked to their death). Similar preps are used in Spain, with most references there using whole Lactarius caps cooked on a griddle. It's a simple, tried and true way to prepare those shrooms.
