    Great bowling for Johnson....very smooth and confident delivery. Thanks for the video

    Great match but good lord the camera/audio work is terrible. I absolutely love bowling but this makes it look absolutely boring. I never realized how much of an impact hearing the ball hit the lanes or even some minor commentary makes.

    What happened to the sound of the ball hitting the lane after each throw? It almost seems as this was muted or removed as a whole. So weird..

    I doubt they will use this for a commercial to show how much fun bowling is. Reminds me of a church or library. Still fun to watch if your a league bowler. better than nuthin

    Nice video-thank you. Noticed Stefanie Johnson wiping her shoe with the ball chamois and then her ball. She does repeatedly in pre-shot routine. Would this not put oil residue on the approach from her shoe?

    • @markinnes4264
      @markinnes4264 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes, I would keep two separate chamois... but you can't argue with success?

    • @doctorrobert60
      @doctorrobert60 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@markinnes4264 True that. She took Svensson down handily.

      If there is oil on the approach your in trouble. Any oil coming off her ball would remain on the chamois in theory, I’d be more concerned with dirt from her shoes getting on the ball. But I see many pro’s do the same as her. So who knows.

    That is ridiculous that one you often the entire video constantly here that noise from the lanes, then the camera angle is horrible including the fact that the camera is moving the entire time and don’t stay steady/still. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

    Jasper has possibly the most powerful ball in bowling, but on this day he was a bit inconsistent on one lane. Stephanie was her usual smooth, professional self. In this match she carried a couple of light hits early and got rolling. Those balls got flat 10's near the end but by that time she was in control. Jasper had that killer ring 7 in the 9th frame that was his last chance. Doubling in the 10th just wasn't enough.

    Note sure why Jesper was using "weak urethane" on a house shot. He should know better.
    This is a blocked pattern with heavy volume, the worst possible pattern for urethane if played from the outside. Guaranteed over/under.
    He should have switched to strong sanded resin with a heavy flaring layout so the ball would be soft through the lane, hook set, and give him consistent carry.
    Unfortunately at this time, mostly all the storm resin balls are too snappy. Only a Crux Prime or Gravity Evolve sanded would have worked for him.
    Of course, if he was with Hammer, he could have simply used a Purple Hammer and won the whole tournament with ease.
    Stefanie was playing the house shot correctly, strong ball with surface up the oil line letting it set and smoothly roll in. If she missed right she would get some push back.
    She created the most margin for error.
    If you are going to stick with urethane Jesper, time to switch labels to save your career.

    • @jlobbz21
      @jlobbz21 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's mostly all Jesper uses.

    • @nordattack
      @nordattack 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jlobbz21 Understood, but he needs to use "better" urethane if he is going to move forward in his career and win more, namely Purple Hammer. Storm simply doesn't make performance enough urethane. Why do you think Butturff uses the Purple?

    • @Anders-B
      @Anders-B 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm going to side with the professional with tour titles and knows his own game. Anyway, I always bowl a urethane on house shots as my natural two handed style usually means my resin balls overhook without a lot of effort, trying to reduce the angle or increase the speed just introduces inconsistency. The best thing about urethane is the consistency, almost always the same shot, regardless of oil pattern. I even use a Columbia 300 yellow dot, a plastic ball...

    • @nordattack
      @nordattack 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Anders-B
      It depends on the urethane ball.
      As I said above, Pitch Black is too over/under.
      Storm has no urethane that would have matched for him on House
      But if he had used a Purple Hammer, he would have been good and likely won the whole tournament, but since he signed with Storm, he is stuck with lesser urethane and a loss.

      Well he is a pro and does it for a living, i'm giving him the benefit of the doubt, he bowled a 235, not to shabby, had he bowled another game, he could have bowled a 279. Thats bowling.
