I think this is great where it may apply. But someone’s own mental illness and inability to self regulate can cause these symptoms as well, even when around others. It can be easy to blame other people, or be delusional even, especially when you’re already fearing others to some degree. So it’s best that people check in with their own potential issues first before making conclusions on something outside of them.
It's a stroke of grace to come across your video. I'm surrounded by so many energy vampires that I now spend most of my time avoiding them. Unfortunately, I still have to interact with them occasionally. They just see me coming and light up for all the wrong reasons. I will try your techniques immediately. Thank you! I couldn't like and subscribe fast enough.
This is incredibly helpful, Bridget. Thank you. I’ve heard Reiki Masters talk about removing energy draining “hooks” or “cords” but this is the first time I’ve seen someone actually talk about stopping it “in the moment.” Thank you.
Thank you ❤ for some reason I was so touched by your well meaning and kind energy towards the end of the video that I almost cried. This is the first time coming across a video of yours and I will subscribe for sure 💕
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. You have no idea how much it means to me to hear this! Very glad to have you joining us here now 💛
I just asked God to help me with this exact issue, which somehow keeps following me around on repeat throughout my life. Wherever I go, there they are. Seriously. Even on the bus. Its like I am a magnet. Let's say I laugh of pure joy, suddenly there is an elderly woman just staring at me, with this grumpy look, sighing out lod. And why do I take it in? Because I grew up with a mom doing this constantly, she is like a black hole. Only being able to exist while consuming those around her. I am in no contact with her and trying to heal for years, but these people (usually women) still get to me. I realise, the main reason I am unable to deflect, or just sit in this space when it happens, is cause one small part of me STILL feel like its MY responsibility to "hold space" for this madness. That without me, they will not survive. Truth is, they will survive, but they will have to feel their OWN pain. And since I was a child, apparently it feels "easier" to feel others pain rather than having them go through with it. Cause I don't know if they would survive it, but I know I will.. I can just cry and scream in a different room after....... And recharge... But doing this time and again eats away from my own life. I have no room or energy do pursue anything I wanna do, cause of this cycle of being hurt, purging, being hurt, purging. All to keep this women in their bubble. Second reason is, fear they will leave me. When you say, in that moment where you "caught them in the act" they will naturally wanna get away. THIS is the hardest part for me, this part of me like a baby crying for mom, the minute they leave. Like, what did I do, why did I do that, they just left me! I know its a GOOD thing for them to leave. But I need to understand that this is a good thing subconsciously, and THIS is what is the hardest, THIS is the big lesson. So how to even do that? Wish you had a video further investigating the mechanics of this. Thanks and best
There are multiple things going on here. Idk if youre open to it, but the first book i would suggest you read is called psycho-cybernetics by maxwell maltz which will have some answers for you on why this is a repeating pattern in your life. An even better and more important book imo is Mind Power into the 21st Century by John Kehoe. That is the best and most simple and clear instructions on how best to proceed. After that, id recommend you look up neville goddard techniques for revision, which will help you use your imagination to heal past traumas. Theyre not your real life anymore, because they arent happening any more, except its still alive, unresolved, inside your mind, as the memory continues to cause you pain. So if you want to heal from it, end the pain by rewriting the memory of pain, by repeating a new story to yourself. Another thing if you want to, is to look up self concept techniques. Both those methods are taught fairly well here on youtube if you want to watch videos about them. The important thing of the self concept methods, should you choose to do them, and this is extremely important, that your begin to see yourself as ALREADY HEALED. it is DONE. you change your identity as being someone who is ALREADY, COMPLETELY, their best version of themselves. If you keep the identity of 'someone who needs to heal' your mind will never stop looking for things to heal, you will stay in pain. (this is somewhat explained in the psycho-cybernetics book) The key of reaching the result that you want, is to keep your mind on the positive result that you want, in the energy of ALREADY HAVING IT, that it is DONE. It is NOT that you WILL be healed. It is that YOU ARE ALREADY HEALED, and are right now enjoying the results of this. These recommendations WILL give you the answers you asked for. From here onwards, it is up to you to do the actions required to create a new life for yourself. No one but you can rewrite your mind for you. Another resource you can explore is the sedona method, which is for releasing painful emotions and negative thoughts. They will come up. The sedona method will show you how to let them go as they do. I wish you the very best and happiest life. Stay strong. You can do this. You have many gifts to share with the world. And then world has many gifts to share with you too.
Hello Bridget. I have two people like this in my daily life. I have learned through experience to do much of what you suggest, but occasionally I do stand up for myself and start a fight about it. I feel that has had the desired effect I'm after when necessary. In the Army I was unable to do that and this is why I now find myself occasionally fighting back. That said, any rare day that does include a battle like this, practically incapacitates me for the rest of the day. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks for all the great advice! I'm now subscribed!
I'm so glad I found this channel. I was wondering if you could talk about trauma bonding, especially in narcissistic family dynamics. How to break free? (without guilt and shame projection one may receive ) Regarding the information in this video, I agree with you 110%. Buddhists and Chinese traditional religions preach about hungry ghosts, which represent beings driven by emotional needs in an animalistic way. Other religions and schools of thought don't believe in reincarnation, so they won't understand this concept because it's related to Samasara. The soul never dies, and it will keep reincarnating until judgment day. Judgment day is a concept in the Abrahamic religion. I strongly believe everything is interlinked. Not everyone will get this. A Cup of Tea Nan-in, a Japanese master during the Meiji era (1868-1912), received a university professor who came to inquire about Zen. Nan-in served tea. He poured his visitor's cup full, and then kept on pouring. The professor watched the overflow until he no longer could restrain himself. "It is overfull. No more will go in!" "Like this cup," Nan-in said, "you are full of your own opinions and speculations. How can I show you Zen unless you first empty your cup?"
It sounds like you’re describing highly sensitive people who do not know how to self regulate…So when they engage and come into contact with people who have stronger energetic boundaries or force, there is no ability to maintain regulation. It’s usually NOT the other person, but actually your own inability to assert boundaries. Other people aren’t the issue, the issue is disempowerment. The “non-reaction” (tip 2) is you just staying in your power no matter what (and I can almost guarantee you the other person is doing the same, otherwise they would be energetically wobbly and would be just as effected by you as you are of them). We have to stop telling people that it’s other people’s issue - that’s dangerous and ignorant advice. Also not spiritual empowering in the slightest. And isn’t the whole point of spiritual evolution to become more and more empowered? Not living based off the fear of other people or situations?
I have my 3 steps:
1.2.3. i got out of social media and became so hard to contact/reach. I'm now alive more than ever

I am so glad TH-cam recommended me this video. Very timely and useful information. Essential even.
Loved this video! New subscriber here. Question: do energy vampires KNOW what they are? Are they conscious about who they are being?

Thank you for your guidance Bridget .
Namaste 💜🙌✨
Thank you for joining along with us here!
The office thingy you mentioned is so so true .
thanks so much
This is so helpful,
I have a question.
Sending my daughter to school.
The energy there is full of it.
Where do I even start ?
Is an energy vampire the same thing as a narcissist?
I feel drained by listening to all the negative description.
I had an angelic cord removing from everyone, ever haha (even loved ones.)
And I am waking up every day feeling like it is day 1. 😄🥳💃🏾
