- I know it's a pretty long video, but I hope you guys like this video! These two are my favorite shipped couple in the entire Vanguard G Series, and probably my favorite in the entire Vanguard Series.
I hope Bushiroad makes this real (I doubt that :') ). Just hoping that it will be real in their new G (V Series)
These are clips, that I think are very true to them...although I cut some clips because it's already a long video...
Bushiroad is such a tease!! They hinted and hinted again and again, but they messed up in G Next, by putting Miguel there (I'm not saying I hate Miguel), it kinda ruined Tokoha's character though

Personally, I prefer choice 2 and 4 (would also do choice 1, but how they summon personas in that game is to cringe)!
40:57 if you guys actually watched the anime and didn't skip around just for the cardfights like most og hardcore vg watchers. You wouldve noticed there were 3-4 times that tokoha hints that she already knew english before the video creator point out the kumi reference thus making it actually official that tokoha and chrono were made bf and gf offscreen. Even if bushiroad just drop teasers of them having feelings for eachother anyone who can use the many hints can put two and two together that even if in the anime they werent officially bf and gf they were bf and gf offscreen. Also if you really watched the anime you would notice the big give away of the pencil teaser because tokoha was there from the beginning of szn 1 and caught chrono using a pencil to cheat on the vg test and once again using the pencil to randomly choose answer to give to tokoha.

Chrono and Akina are really do look alike to me🤣 except that Chrono doesn't have any little sister but only himself in the apartment he live and had Vanguard that changes his life and makes new friends even had some troubles woth his past and reunion with his father, Rive Shindou in G Z while Akina had an sick little sister and tries to changes his and Hikari's fate with Vanguard and Fated Ones tourney. even had to fought his own little sister from future in order to fought final boss by himself similar to Chrono that fully determined and loves for Vanguard lol
I ship it so much they are perfect for each other😉😉😉 but they fight too much 😅😅😅😅

I'm new to Vanguard, and I'm binge watching the entire series to get to the D series as I'm currently trying to finish the V series. But I'm honestly kind of sad seeing these previous sequels end like G. I just wanna see more kurotoko moments at least cuz its so adorable and I just want to IMAGE it so bad, like I'm really getting deja vu's. 😊😊😊🥰

You missed the pencil teaser/hint. Proving that ever since Szn 1 she started developing feelings for chrono because she was there watching over him when he was taking the vg test to regain points to get to lvl 3 and caught him using the pencil to guess on sum of the questions lmao

This is the one ship in all of G that makes the most sense canon wise a lot.
Before this I do want to say that I respect all ships people have. I may not agree with some ships and you may think I am forcing my ship into the story but I am not I am just stating things I noticed and seem to be significant to Tokoha and Chrono as characters who can be romantically involved and also be reasons why Tokoha is best suited to be like Kai. This is if GZ would of been like Legion in her being the Protagonist as well as why they are most likely to be romantic partners. they have a very interesting dynamic and friendship out of all the G charecters. This whole I love Miguel I feel gets thrown out the window when Tokoha Fights Chrono in GNext in the U20 to claim a spot againts Team Diffriders. It is clear that fight showed more than the love for Vanguard they have because this fight had more passion in it that was beyond rivalry and friendship. Compared to Shion vrs Chrono this fight was better as Chrono and Tokoha put there passion and heart. I know many ship Chrono and Kazuma as well as Tokoha and Antero (Miguel) and as I said I respect that but it is clear that romance between Chrono and Tokoha could of happen and feels it is truly there specially in this fight.
The reason Tokoha could take the role of Kai if GZ would of been like Legion and canonically could be Chronos Girlfriend is the following. If you pay close attention to G all the way to GStride Gate Chrono and Tokoha are always seen together in many shots including in the openings. In some shots and scenes they share the same emotions and even reactions. In fact it is sometimes alluded and clear that Chrono spent time with Tokoha off screen alone a few times in G while Shion was off doing his thing when Chrono lost all his points and also when Shion wanted to leave the team. Also in the party they had in Card Capital Chrono and Tokoha where the ones drawing funny faces and even they pushed Shion to do it which was hilarious. Chrono and Tokoha have had an interesting dynamic since early G. Infact Tokoha did not fight Chrono in her introductory episode like all charecters, but it was her friend Kumi. Jaime was the exception but he got a three episode arc when he was introduced. Tokoha did not fight Chrono until we learn of how she feels being in her brothers shadow and that fight actually had meaning to her as Chrono gave it a positive light and we see him give her the Croquet bread he bought. Not to mention this fight had some build up to it in some episodes such as the festival episode where they fight him together with Shion when they worked on that stall at the festival. Even Tokoha invited Chrono to dance in a bone fire at the end I know many see this as her avoiding Shions Fan Club but she doesnt seem to be the type to care about that and also the entire time she was talking directly to Chrono (Also I feel this episode happened before the first fight between Chrono and Tokoha) We also see how Tokoha wants Chrono to take Revenge for her brother againts Jaime who defeated him. We saw how close Chrono and Tokoha got before there fight and even Chrono under a quest got a Time capsule that Tokoha put underground with Akane (The royal paladin player who also takes care of her in France) Which then Akane and Tokoha proceeded to have a cardfight. This is also something we can contrast in early G to Shion. This episode focused and centered on Tokoha with someone from her past and involved Chrono yet we had an episode centered around Shion and it did not invovled Chrono at all and it was between Shion and someone from his past just like Tokohas episode.
Tokoha was visibly the most worried about him when Ryuzu took Chrono and also it seems she was with him a lot while he was in the hospital in GZ and even traveled with him. Even Mikuru threw some hints at there feelings in GZ when they saw him fight Kazumi Onimaru. Not to mention she traveled with him to see his father (Shion was already there) and was the character who gave him the push to take the step he did not want to take. They could of easily have Mikuru but they chose Tokoha. They also seem to be the closest characters when it comes to the first 3 G seasons. Going back to GNext ep 1 we see Chrono is texting Shion and we also see Kumi Tokohas best friend approach him to see an article about Tokoha and spent more time on her than Shion as she also showed him an article on him but just mentioned what seems to be part of the article. Not to mention at the end when we saw the future or as many call it Chronos dream, Tokoha was the one character who spoke the most and even said something very significant as he took off into space. We also know before that sequence that she is taking time off to help him learn french and help him in his dream to be an astronaut.
Even in the GZ opening there is a shot where Team Stiders, Try3 and Q4 are posing together and Tokohas left hand and Chronos right hand are in fists going back and it seems like they are reaching for each other. Also She is intront of Kai as Chrono has his back to Aichi by being infront of him and those 4 are the only characters with space between them. Shion is infront of Misaki who also has space with Kai except Shion is on the floor crouching. FInally if you pay attention to the shot Chrono and Tokoha are basically doing the same pose. Also in that same opening when Chrono is running and is colored Green he seems to reach out and we get a close up to his reaction and we cut right to Tokoha and Ahsha. Finally when they all went to fight Gyze in space Tokoha gave Chrono support and even pushed him to get more speed while Shion was doing his own thing.
Very well thought through. Only thing I feel that you missed is mentioning how if they had continued, we could’ve had Kumi and Tokoha having a friendly rivalry for Chrono!
@@willnack5315 Thank you. Thats true but I never saw Tokoha as a rival for him because they build on each other as charecters outside of Vanguard. There fights have had meaning for them
And they also have the fact that there isn't quite so much shiptease for other pairings as with the 1st-gen. Aichi/Kai v. Aichi /Misaki v. Aichi/Kourin (last one's the only one I see giving Aichi/Kai a real run for the deck). They even lampshaded the Kai and Kourin pairings to death in the IF series, so...
@@EthanKironus8067 Yes this is also true not to mention the whole character shift Chrono and Tokha had due to Kazuma and Miguel. Shion was the only character who felt the same. I have spoken to some people who rewatched G and most have said that in GNext Chrono and Tokoha prior to the beach episode feel like completely different characters

Kumi really seems like she was a contender.
She could’ve been, if they had continued with G or made a sequel to G they could’ve had Kumi and Tokoha becoming friendly rivals for Chrono! It would’ve been nice to see a rivalry that isn’t Kai being Tsuendere or one that risks the end of the world!
I'm so sad they rebooted the whole series and we will never see their kids, or anyone's really.

I wished Bushi hadn’t jumped the gun on V series and this is why. I would’ve like to see Kumi and Tohkoha become friendly rivals for Chrono, Asaka Narumi become Asaka Suzukumori (sorry if I botched the names here), and Chrono vs Takuto (and by VS, I mean Chrono completely annihilating Takoto because Takoto is probably still in Legion with an Ezel Legion and no G-Zone whatsoever). Also wished they hadn’t jumped onto Overdress so soon (don’t get me wrong it’s an interesting series, albeit lacking in the Cray side of Cardfights, it’s just that there’s so much they missed by not continuing with V for a little bit longer) though I blame that on If (I say this since it wasn’t dub and the last time this happened was with Legion and that was because it didn’t do so well in Japan though they still should’ve done a trial run with volunteers hired by the staff of Bushi’s English division). I actually tried making a few sequel series with Chrono and Tohkoha’s kid as the MC, though he used Link Joker instead of Gear Chronicle or Neo Nectar (in one the new thing is G-Units with temporary rear-guard circles and the other had G-Unit like cards that lines up in a legion-like style with certain units after discarding a specified unit and in both his ace with a new evolved form of Blaster Joker because that guy didn’t get much respect in that day)!

I'm gonna be completely honest with you, I watch the the cardfight vanguard Z for some glimpse of the original characters... Yeah I had fun watching Z but I was really pissed when the team Q4 loss againt the new Z... I mean they all the legends player the best and the best cardfighter around the world... Team Q4... Some come they lose against this rookies...I mean we're talking about toshiki kai!!! That guy is a legend... Luckily they let aichi won... I was really worried when I saw that match... The OG vs NG...but anyway this video was great bring back some memories... And you missed the part when team strider goes to tokoha house and her mom said is he your boyfriend... I would have loved if you had included that part....!

am i the only one who only can't see them as lovers? not that i hate chronoha but it's just that their dynamic is more of a friendly rival type. heck, even their moments are just more on friendships & are hardly seen as romantic. i personally like shiotoko, as they agree together on many things & their personality balance each other, not to mention, their tendency to act like mom & dad duo when it comes to chrono like them teasing him, teaching him or scolding him together. besides, tokoha's mom doesn't mind handing her hand-in-marriage to shion & shion actually have the guts to joke to tokoha's dad by calling him "otou-san." & for chrono, i think kumi will be more suited for him. overall, i like chronoha's friendship & so is try3's friendship.

Its 43 minutes long but we didn't see any fall stacking scene, hug scene, kiss scene or anything too fanservices. Just normal life of freinds who make a relation a bit and a bit in realistic way. This is why V sucks the most. Over the top with tons of shitty fanservices
