Great look that is a low cost high profit build with a good demand. I would price them at $100 a set. Tis the season for our Christmas tree videos to build views. 😁👍
Can you please show a close up of the angles that you cut. I know that you have already finished this video maybe just show a pic that you may have in a video. If not able please keep it in mind for your other videos.
Tamar from 3x3 custom has a great video on how to cut any angle on a miter saw if yours isn’t able to cut this (or alternatively trace the angle and handsaw it as you just need to cut it once per tree). th-cam.com/video/iUOxyFCwFJ8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=TAVw1ebQ157VrRmb
Use a scrap 2x4 cut a 45 on one end, clamp to your saw fence, up against the blade. Turn your table to 15 degrees, put your stock against the 45. 45+15 =60
When you say to set your miter saw to 60 degrees, you realize that only a very few miter saws can be set beyond about 45 detrees, right? There are ways to cut 60 on any saw, but they require hacks or work-arounds..If you're only making one or two of these it's quicker to mark the angle, and cut it with a hand saw.
It looks as tho you only angled one of the 2 pieces of wood for the top of your tree. Is that what you did?? and why if you have a moment . Thank you for your time ..
🎄What price would you list these trees for sale for in your area? 🎄Thanks so much for watching!

I use a lot of golden oak stain in my projects.
Never heard of it, what brand it is? I feel like I may need to add this to my collection ;)
@@standishwoodstory I use Minwax. It brings out the beauty of the wood without changing the color very much.

I’m not sure how to best share a photo of it, send me an email to info@standishwoodstory.com and I’d be happy to share.
Most DIY mitre saw do not have capability to cut 60 degree angles.
I was also thinking that. Guess that's what that miter gauge thing I git with by table saw is for 🙂
There’s videos right here on TH-cam. Look for “How to cut 60 degrees on miter saw”. It’s really simple.

That is a good point, but it is also the time of year for Black Friday sales...time to upgrade your mitre saw😁
