It would be ideal if planning is done to connect ALL airports to the proposed Silver Line Project, not just Kochi & TVM. A high speed shuttle service using mono rail or something similar should connect Kozhikode and Kannur airports to Silver Line Project if not already planned. Additionally Kochi & Kozhikode airports should be connected to Guruvayoor via helicopter service and Kochi & TVM airports connected to Shabarimala via helicopter service. Government should look into the possibilities and feasibilities of these.

Kerala air traffic is comparitively higher than other cities because of high expatriate population in Kerala.We don't get high paying jobs here so we go to other cities or countries to earn that. Now many cities like Ahmedabad, lucknow,patna, Guwahati etc passenger growth is higher than kerala airports and they will beat us in near future.We should aim at more domestic passengers growth by promoting investment and industrial growth in our state. Remember GIM and emerging kerala. Nothing major happened

Hi CrestKerala, where are you getting this info from? Please share your source. Here are the list of busiest airports as reported from AAI. 1. Delhi 2. Mumbai 3. Bangalore 4. Hyderabad 5. Kolkata 6. Chennai 7. Ahmedabad The above 7 are consistently ranked in top 7. Goa, Kochi, Patna, Pune all comes below those. Kannur, Kozhikode, Trivandrum doesn't even come in top 15 or even top 20 of busiest airports..

േകാഴിക്കോട് അപകടത്തിനു ശേഷം വലിയ വിമാനങ്ങൾക്ക് നിരോധനം കൊണ്ടുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിനു മുൻപും പല കാരണം കൊണ്ട് പല സർവീസുകൾക്കും നിയന്ത്രണം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോൾ റൺവേ വികസനം സാധ്യമാകുന്നില്ല എന്ന കാരണത്താൽ സർവീസുകളുടെ വൈപുല്യം സ്ഥിരമായി ഇല്ലാതാകും. നല്ല വരുമാനമുണ്ടാക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന എയർപോർട്ടുകൾക്ക് ബൃഹദ്വൽക്കരണത്തിനും സ്ഥലസൗകര്യo വേണമെന്നുള്ള പാഠം കോഴിക്കോട് നൽകുന്നുണ്ട്. പുതിയ കാലത്ത് ടേബിൾ ടോപിന് ചെറിയ പ്രാധാന്യം പോലും ലോകം കൊടുക്കുന്നില്ല. എങ്ങനെയാണ് ഈ കുന്ന് കണ്ടുപിടിച്ചതെന്ന് വിദഗ്ധർ വരെ ചോദിക്കുന്നു. ദീർഘവീക്ഷണം ഇല്ലാതെ പോയി അന്നത്തെ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർക്കും രാഷട്രീയക്കാർക്കും.

The above 7 are consistently ranked in top 7.
Goa, Kochi, Patna, Pune all comes below those.
Kannur, Kozhikode, Trivandrum doesn't even come in top 15 or even top 20 of busiest airports..
