Awesome addition to the game!
Still hoping we'll see a platform update/DLC that enhances urban/building combat (maybe add interior to USS freedom?). Some waypoints like 'clear building' would be nice.
Also some CSAT naval assets would be very cool.
the design of the Battleship fits so perfect to ArmA 3! A bit oldschool and a bit futuristic

one thing that should be implemented is the abilitay to transport the defender and the MPQ radar with a HEMTT, same thing with the CSAT variant

Ship looks more like a frigate. Would be more fitting since the Arleigh Burkes would still be in service, but even now there is a new frigate design contest. This could be it.

I don't know if I never noticed it until now, but I think with this update in the hummingbird with guns the is a black circle drawn on with marker representing a reticle so if you play without the virtual reticle you can still aim.
hmmm where do you find the ship exactly ? i think i couldnt find it on zeus > nato > boats .

I am a bit sad for development for Arma 3 to start winding down for the new game engine and Arma 4. But thank you so much for making the navy part of Arma 3 more important. The next dlc should be ship warfare so people would dive a lot more and charges which could destroy ships underwater explosives capable of destroying ships or even submarines

Wish we could spawn the ship in Zues. I could do a lot of new mission ideas with that.

secondo me, lo dico da scripter di altis life, dovrebbero puntare di più sui contenuti per fare RP, esempio macchine della pula americane, macchine civili che non siano hatchback fuoristrada quad e suv ed uniformi realistiche
PiterChannel 2 Potrei darti ragione, ma per quei tipi di contenuti ci hanno pensato sempre i modder, non penso che gli sviluppatori perdano tempo su cose che ci sono già (ma spero di sbagliarmi). Io punterei soprattutto sul lato tecnico dell'engine (per l'ottimizzazione del gioco) e delle aggiunte di meccaniche... senza parlare dei fix per i troppi bug
sicuramente, quello è basilare per un videogioco che ha così tanto da offrire come Arma 3, comunque, ti assicuro che anche se i modder fanno contenuti che corrispondono a quello che ho scritto prima, i lavori dei modder (e mi ci metto dentro anche io da modellatore e convertitore di modelli 3d da qualsiasi gioco ad arma 3) sono sempre meno precisi di quelli degli sviluppatori pagati, magari io come modder sono più impreciso poichè ho 14 anni e non presto moltissima attenzione ai dettagli

Hum... why have a destroyer if there is no other ship to destroy? Besides artillery i don't see other use.
Staging area (it can launch RHIBs and has a landing pad for helicopters) and it can provide fire support with both its main gun and the VLS Cruise Missiles. Like much of the content, it is there to support the normal infantry/tank/helo gameplay that tends to dominate.
