Can't believe this only has 11k views. This game looks better than anything I've seen in a long time, never played arma but i picked it up a few days ago just for this and i love it.
most that ive seen just repeat the same thing of "jungle boogy shack jungle hueys only jungle" arma 3 being different and being accurate with all sorts of assests weaponry, tunnels cities rivers etc.
SOG used captured enemy weapons to disguise their presence, or to fill capability gaps (like the teething problems of the M16, and lack of a light squad automatic like we have now in the M249). They knew what they were doing.
To blend in, Each Spike team consisted of both American's and ARVN troops. I've heard some rumors that some of the spike team leaders would have their ARVN troops dress as NVA and walk point of the American group to confuse the enemy.
@@DFVaun well captured enemy weapons would be bad since they were booby trapped. US intentionally send to Vietnamese overloaded ammunition so when fired the rifle explodes in the face. So there was always chance you run into one of these bullets. plus any other American unit would used to sound of AK fire and actually lots of friendly fire incidents happened from someone firing enemy weapon.
@@Cage2053K That also sound dangerous, since friendlies can mistake you for the enemy. one time one hippie had the Vietnamese strawhad while he was on point and 60 men where wiped out by friendly artilery due to that mistake.
@@17MrLeon Shit happens in combat. Spike and Hatchet teams operated in Laos and Cambodia well away from other allied ground units and out of the range of friendly artillery. There have been stories that ind team members were killed by door gunners because they were mistaken for enemy troops during a exfil. Often times when working with other air units then the Kingbees or their regular transportation unit during a exfil the 1-0 would have to send the 1-1 or 1-2 to tell the door gunners to hold fire so the Ind troops operating with the team wouldn't be shot during the extraction.
We allow use of the soundtrack with game footage, we just dont allow you to pirate the soundtrack as just audio. Someone uploaded the whole soundtrack and it was DMCA’d. Proceeds from the soundtrack go to the special operations association and the composers. Savage takes nothing.
