I really don't comment in any youtube videos, but this time I had to open an exception. Sakat Bansal (I hope I'm writing the lectures name correctly) is the best SAFe teacher I've seen (and I've researched quite a lot). It's very hard to find free quality or cost accessible content regarding SAFe on the internet, as it's quite a complex topic, and that's the best one I've seen so far. Thank you for facilitating our learning path.
I am PMP certified & know basics of scrum. 7 day before i was not at all aware of what is SAFE agile. but the way you explained in this introductory 7 video series i understood very well outline of SAFE agile. hats off to you. You are one of best teacher i have ever seen.
Hello, I just wanted to say thank you for creating such an amazing and helpful series of videos on the Scaled Agile Framework. I learned a lot from your training and I appreciate your expertise and experience in this field. You explained the concepts very clearly and I especially enjoyed your real life examples that illustrated how to apply the framework in different scenarios. Your videos helped me understand the benefits and challenges of scaling agile across large organizations and how to deliver value to customers faster and better. I think you are a great teacher and a valuable resource for anyone who wants to learn more about the Scaled Agile Framework. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge and insights with us. You have made a positive impact on my learning journey and I hope you continue to create more awesome content in the future. Cheers!
Glad it was helpful! We have started running advance series on SAFe, usually good after once goes for training, here is the series link th-cam.com/play/PLWcvFkRbuunnwy2AYTJy3zhdHpYfcLqP9.html&si=YsyZc98yfVkasFYp
Bug : It depend on what is the objective of it, in general giving a number helps to quantify how the work in increasing because of bugs else you see 10 story points work done and 3 bugs added, but when the 3 bugs also get estimated as 5 story point than net progress becomes very clear. SM: Usually involved to ensure we spend right amount of time in estimation, once team get mature SM may not needed for estimation
Thank you for checking out videos on Scaled Agile Framework, we also have ongoing podcast series on SAFe Topics th-cam.com/play/PLWcvFkRbuunnwy2AYTJy3zhdHpYfcLqP9.html
Hi , Hope you must be doing good. I have few queries related to SAFe‘s IP iteration. i have first query regarding calculating WSJF factor for the Enablers as Product Management is asking that they cannot give business value in such topics. What is the best way of transparency here? Should we only ask System Architect for Business Value? i’m confused. Second topic is regarding IP iteration. How the Scrum ceremonies are handled in IP iteration as there is no Sprint Goal and Team is focussing on Hackathons, Upskilling , Learning and knowledge sessions. Should we run Daily Scrum, Iteration planning, iteration review and retrospective specific to IP iteration. Third topic is for I&A event what is the best practice for Retrospective and finding out action items for next PI? I‘m going to have this first time with 45 team members in a meeting. Please suggest. Thanks in advance.
1. for WSJF, it is recommended to not to mix features and enabler in same bucket , first do capacity allocation and that in that allocated bucket apply WSJF, so if you allocate 20% for enabler, do WSJF of enablers only in that 20% , may be risk will be factor more than others. We do have WSJF video : th-cam.com/video/tI8hvuaExOY/w-d-xo.html 2. Yes, scrum ceremonies are not expected in IP 3. Yes we do Inspect and Adapt in IP which is like big retro for full ART. Consider attending Leading SAFe session with us if not done already : www.izenbridge.com/scaling-agile/safe-agilist-certification-training/
Interesting and easy to understand sessions. Your videos are very helpful even before attending SAFe training itself I got good understanding about SAFe. Thanks for the videos.
Sir, Watching you after PMP series.. just love the amount of details you share on the overview series ensuring all important concepts are covered in detail. Love your teaching style Sir..Thankyou for wonderful series..look forward to learn from your videos always❤
Thank you for your kind words I appreciate you taking time and making a comment, our goal is enhancing employability of professionals to achieve that we add follow-up content to the certification programs since just getting certified is not enough.
After team demo, at retrospective meeting find something not going well need to improve, will improvement stories move to next iteration or next pi planning? If improving stories created, should in team demo remove old stories implementation and updated in system demo?
All options are valid options based on which helps the most, which mean, you can add improvement work in just next iteration also, usually you keep some space for such things or you create space, and if something needs more time, it can be candidate for next PI planning meeting discussion as well
You are incredible!! I watched all 7 videos and it gives a fair understanding about Safe. Do you provide safe training? If yes.. please send me details about the upcoming training class
Hi, Thank you for checking our videos on Scaled Agile framework (SAFe), yes we do run regular sessions in various courses of SAFe and you can found details here : www.izenbridge.com/safe-agilist-sa/
We are not aware of any published article on such adaption, but in general SAFe recommend based on impacts team can decide what is helping them. More than 2 weeks for I&P we have not seen yet.
@saket ....During Innvoation and planning , development team splits the features into userstories and may estimate it too ....my question is splitting of features into userstories should be done by Product owner not the development team .

Can we give estimation/story point to the Bug?
Is Scrum Master should or must involve in estimation time

This is something you define for your team, as far as SAFe guideline is concerned its a collaborative task and defined like this
"All teams: Collaborate with the Product Owner to create and refine user stories and acceptance criteria "
