Nice tidy driving! Hard to believe it was around 10 months ago I last played this, seeing the tracks and hearing the tunes again it feels more recent. 😄
Happy 25th Birthday Dreamcast, Blue Sega Swirl for the win!! 🥳🥳🥳

Thanks for the comment VR. I felt I had to replace my 2017 runs; wall bashing all over the place! .
Yes, Happy 25th Birthday Dreamcast although I didn't get mine until early 2000 (after I received my winnings from Sega Park's Daytona USA 2 competition). That was my first new console since 1995 when I bought a replacement Megadrive (a Megadrive 2 from Game in Debenhams :)).

I'd had a gut full of the new owners of GAME at that point in time, especially with their limited Sega Saturn support so me and my bro pre-ordered ours from HMV lol. I think I went home with Sega Rally 2, VF3 and Tokyo Highway. I was slightly disappointed with SR2 at the time with it's choppy frame rate, VF3 could of looked better and had no sun on Jeffrey's stage which was odd. It was all saved by the fact Toyko was pushing 50fps (Scart) and looked wow! And HMV gave us a preview video of coming soon Dreamcast games, interestingly alot of the footage for Shemue was footage of Shenmue 2!!! Didn't realise at the time it was Shenmue 2 footage of course lol.

@@MIK_F40 Thanks for the reply VR. I remember first seeing the Dreamcast in action at HMV sometime during summer '99 (pre-release on a demo pod). Wasn't really interested at the time although I did like the Sonic Adventure 'whale chase' sequence. It was only after playing Soul Calibur regularly at Sega Park and seeing screenshots from the upcoming DC release that I changed my mind. I remember even entering a 'Win A Dreamcast' competition from the gaming show 'BITZ' (late night Channel 4) - did not win lol. Thankfully won some money on Sega Park's Daytona 2 competition). When I did buy the DC in early 2000, my first games were Marvel Vs. Capcom and Soul Calibur. Survived on those and the demo disks from the Official DC magazine until Crazy Taxi and Resident Evil Code Veronica were released later in the year. :)

@@RJAY63Cool you got a free Dreamcast tho! I love Street Fighter but Marvel vs never interested me, comic book super hero characters meh lol... I know loads love that mix and funny enough they have been released as a bundle on Nintendo Switch this week, digital download only, physical has a code in the box to download it, no card.

Thanks for the reply VR (YT didn't notify me you responded). I enjoyed the X-Men/Marvel Vs. games at Sega Park but was never a comic book fan. Some of guys I hung around with in Sega Park back in '99-00 were frequent visitors to the Forbidden Planet (originally in East Street) and they were baffled as to why I wasn't into comics/heavy metal. Two of them were avid Marvel Vs Capcom 1 players but never bothered learned any of the moves - they simply chose 'Easy' mode and whacked the buttons/wiggled the joystick. Oh well, their money I guess.
I already got Marvel Vs Capcom 1/2 but nice they have re-released them with some of the older titles. I did research buying a Japanese Sega Saturn for Marvel Super Heroes Vs Street Fighter but the cost was too prohibitive (it's not the best game anyway). I'm glad they are also looking to release some of the Capcom Vs SNK titles again as that may make Capcom Vs SNK Pro on the Dreamcast cheaper (probably the last DC title on my wish list - Japan release only)! ;)
