I also love how right outside of the "Grand Canyon" in this game there's desert with saguaro cacti but... THE GRAND CANYON ISN'T IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DESERT IN REAL LIFE! It's in northern AZ in the high elevation near the cold mountain city of Flagstaff where there's evergreen pine trees everywhere and it's a snowy winter wonderland(actually is 2nd most snowy city in the country according to Google). Basically the exact opposite of being in the desert. 🤣 lol Being someone born and raised in Arizona who owned this game as a kid, how tf did I not notice these hilarious geographical inaccuracies? I love it though. And the music still brings me right back.
The map after each race shows that you only start the race in Arizona, then go north and east through South Dakota (passing by Mount Rushmore) and finish in Iowa (the next race)
@@boofert.washington2499 That's true, there are high desert biomes in Northern AZ. But not at the GC rims. They're straight up pine forests. Even if you tried to transplant a saguaro up there, it would die fast. Too cold and too wet.

I still have the N64 version of Cruis'n world (played it yesterday, in fact), and the bikini wearing trophy and flag girls most certainly are in the game, and aren't censored in any way. You can toggle them on or off in the options.
The cop car license plate says oink in the arcade, and the old lady in iowa doesnt give you the middle finger on n64. Also the n64 version didnt add a little top end speed for doing the gear trick like on the arcade machine. Starting race go from 1 to 4 to 1 back to 4th gear and the top end goes up by 4-5mph, and when using the green ferrari it makes for less of a dent in that pocket full of quarters we had in our pockets
