I'm bottle feeding three, 18-day old kittens and I would prefer not to bathe them, but like you, I find it necessary to do so when I don't get to them in time and they poop all over themselves. It's really not dangerous, as long as the kittens are bathed in warm water, completely dried, and kept warm to prevent hypothermia.
No baby likes a bath. As someone who has rescued/fostered many kittens, I saw nothing wrong with how this little one was being bathed. The kitten was being cared for: bathed and fed. Even sponge baths get this reaction from kittens. Obviously, a kind heart was behind this care. Bravo!

yes you can give any animal bath at any age anyone who dont believe me go ask ppl who breed persians theirs many reasons to give the kittens baths momma cat dies/disappears mom cat is just to tired from giving birth or you can condition a cat to be comfortable with water by holding the kitten by running water and petting the kitten till they get antsy I did this with my kitten a few months ago and now he can keep out of water for the life of him but usually you can condition or guide a cat to like some like water or a place to cuddle on you you just have to be consistent with it so yea good job for taking on this adorable lil fuzz ball it takes a lot of patience
