"State proofing your business". I did that in 2006 when I left the country. No regrets.

Brilliant discussion with a brilliant set of guests. Unfortunately this brilliant discussion will go over the top of the heads of most people in this banana republic. The challenge is to roll out this thinking on a National level in its most basic and understandable format to get the much needed buy in and critical mass to forge ahead with the policies and changes envisaged.
This is arguably one of the most important discussions I've come accross on what's desperately needed to save this sinking ship which the rats are fast fleeing from. Some very pertinent points and issues raised which I've grappled with for a very long time.
There are many like minded individuals and civic groups that need to regroup and act as one voice rather than individually as the divide and conquer principle has been applied for far too long by the powers that be to great effect.

Loved the format Dave. ☀️🌴🏆 Guests possibly more relaxed in a familiar environment. Questions were on the money.
As for your guests. Wow. When you read a great work of literature, you feel, see, taste, and sense the message conveyed. Grim message, yet with a frikkin workable solution. . Deep understanding from Russell with an economy of words that can only be described as poetry. Vivid picture of the battle ground and what needs to happen, . The concept of Sovereignty. Honestly to me becomes the clincher. At the Individual level you have a clear path, to a better life for “All”. ☀️🌴(sorry sounded cliche) Decentralised micro electrical grids (providing extremely CHEAP power DeRuyter quoting $0,05 US cents stored)will create embryos of business creativity (legally outside the corruption of petty government officials) Like water electricity is a necessity for survival. The coming wave of electrification of transport will make many municipalities a lot of money. But we need to do it fast. The urgency in this matter is extreme. AI and automation. also require heaps of power. . We need to sort this shit out quickly
Pieter incisive pragmatism Decentralization (big subject) is the defining word for a brave new world where we are judged by character alone.
Ernst said something interesting (not his words) That as South Africans we will be the first to sculpt a solution with the coming leftist dogma. The whole world is facing the same thing down the road. Pretty sure you guys are the architects of the future and writing history . Loved the chat😁✨🏆✨☀️🌴

@Dog Box - couldn't have put it better. But to add: proud to see an Afrikaner organisation step up to the plate. I suddenly have a vision that, perhaps something constructive and game changing may come to this country if businesses pool their resources and expertise. We may yet show the world "waar daar n wil is, is n weg".
      Great podcast.

Someone needs to also explain to people the dangers of solar energy in its current form. It's absolutely NOT environmentally friendly. It'll actually be more environmentally friendly to build a few more small power stations.

The amount of non-recyclable waste from worn out solar panels has to be addressed. 👍

Glass and aluminum? Easily recyclable. As are the metals. Large companies already exist to recycle all the invidual components of batteries

@@dogbox2290 so... All recyclable? What else is in their?
Will they really take each one apart and do that?
      I hope so.
We need to harness the sun's energy in a highly productive way.🤞

I still believe cadre deployment is our main problem. State institutions are infested with incompetent, selfish and uninterested individuals.
Ultimately the function of government is pioneered through regulations and policies and those have not been carried out effeciently not that they have adverse effects.
Big question is how do we get the ANC out of power and away from state resources.
