“Am I Racist?” has one of the funniest scenes I have ever seen in a movie. I have been laughing on and off all day since I saw the movie this afternoon. I laughed a lot. I’m not even a big Matt Walsh fan. But I loved this.
For all the fellas in the comments saying we need to stop focusing on Conservatism and it's not Christian etc, let me inform you. Politics is simply how people in society interact. The goal of politics is to bring virtue into society. Our theology informs our philosophy, which in turn informs our politics. Everybody holds political views. Just to be Christian is, in a sense, a political statement. The terms Right and Left come from the French Revolution, where the Catholics sat on the right side of the hall, and the anti-Christian/Secularists sat on the left side. Right wing politics are very Catholic. Now that being said, imagine a line, you have a right side and a left side, and then somewhere on this line there are two sliding objects named Conservative and Liberal. The general trend is that both Conservative and Liberal slide to the left over time, where Right and Left are the ends of the line, they are constant. Conservative means that you want to conserve the order of things and Liberal means you're opting particularly the new "fresh" ideas that destroy the old order (aka the tradition). Because Liberal and Conservative change a over time, there are a range of beliefs that can fall into the Conservative name, many are tenable with the Catholic faith, and some are not. One example is IVF. Conservatives in the past would have been opposed to IVF but many modern "Conservatives" accept it. So sure, you can nitpick and say Conservatism is opposing the faith, but you're really missing the point. Not to mention that almost every view held by the Liberal party is opposed to Catholicism in principal (as it is literally meant to destroy the traditional/Catholic values of society. If you don't believe me look to the French Revolution again). To those who are saying that Conservatives are Pharisaical because they hold on to traditions and aren't loving, let me remind you that to be Catholic is to hold on to the living tradition of the Church. We aren't supposed to be so loving that we pretend mortal sin isn't mortal sin, forgoing the traditional teaching of sin in the Church so our neighbors feel good about themselves even when they commit abominations. We still have a duty to bring Truth to other people's lives and bring Christ to the public square. Yes this should be done in a loving way, but sometimes doing this causes negative emotions. To truly love a person is to care for their eternal soul above all. "I am the king's good servant, but God's first"- St. Thomas More. Viva Cristo Rey!
You don’t need politicians in order to bring the humility and compassion of Christ to the public square. In fact I would argue that it is nearly impossible to do so. More likely they will bring hubris, sanctimony, and hypocrisy
I laughed SO HARD at some of these scenes. There were also heart warming moments. I think a big message of it is that anti-racism is really only an upper/upper middle class concern. One thing all the folks who weren't stressed about race had in common is that they were average, blue color, living in more rural areas, but both white and black. It really seems to me more and more to be a "luxury belief" for the college educated and well off (speaking as someone has two degrees, I've been in the midst of it and it SUCKS THE LIFE OUT OF YOU)

However, with the enemy knocking on our door so publicly these days, it would be prudent to stand in Christ with our protestant brothers and sisters. As to mean, there is laughter and ridiculousness in life, pointing it out isn’t making anyone out to be a “victim”
Jesus called the pharisees a million names mocking them IN FRONT OF ENTIRE CROWDS. Could you imagine the laughter and mockery they received for this? Could you imagine what it must have been like? Yet JESUS did it in name of truth. He mocked them, he EXPOSED THEM. Period.
1. Whitewashed tombs (Matthew 23:27): Implying they appeared beautiful outwardly but were corrupt within.
2. Snakes (Matthew 23:33): Suggesting they were deceitful and deadly.
3. Vipers (Matthew 12:34): Emphasizing their venomous nature.
4. Hypocrites (Matthew 23:13-15, 23-29; Luke 12:1): Exposing their duplicity.
5. Blind guides (Matthew 23:16-24; Luke 6:39): Highlighting their spiritual ignorance.
6. Fools (Matthew 23:17-19): Revealing their lack of spiritual understanding.
7. Children of hell (Matthew 23:15): Indicating they led others astray.
8. Clean outside, dirty inside (Matthew 23:25-26): Contrasting their outward appearance with inner corruption.
9. Self-righteous (Luke 18:9-14): Criticizing their reliance on self-merit.
10. Brood of vipers (Matthew 3:7; 12:34; 23:33): Emphasizing their evil nature.
Jesus literally used these STRONG methods when there was no other method that worked, these GRIFTERS divide, shame white people often
They didn't need much help to showcase themselves in a light that would cause them to be mocked. And pointing out absurdity is not against Bible doctrine. Painting out absurdity in a humorous way is not against Bible doctrine. You're unnecessarily handicapping yourself by not using tools that can cause actual cultural change despite the fact that they're not against Christian doctrine.
I am.
Are any shows on Fox News Channel at all giving any publicity to this movie?
