TIP> Freeze a two litre bottle of water before you go and stick it in the cooler box this makes a massive difference to the inside temp of your cooler box.
i tested this and can honestly say it works like a treat!
If the temperature in your car is 30 degrees (typical on pretty much any sunny summers day) the temp inside will be 30-16=14 degrees. Hardly 'chilly'. But a couple of bottles of frozen water will work well to keep things cool
To get a cooler that does 30 degrees below ambiant is super-expensive (around £200). A 2l bottle filled with water - free!

why dont they have the 12v cable at least 10 meter? it will allow you to place it in the boot out of the way, so you can have 3 or 4 passengers
+kashem58 good idea. Although then you can't get stuff out on the go. You could use an extension?
i ended up using an extension 5 meter extension, wired it throught he trim panel so its neatly tucked away
how long can you run this for on a mains adaptor. ie. staying in a hotel without a fridge? and using as a mini cooler
This is the reason i am here, I guess it'll just run like your fridge at home. Could you recommend a 12v to uk plug adapter ?

Still use it yes. Probably only 3 or 4 times a year.

Only used a few times , now only works on mains power , not 12v , checked wires &fuses , circuit board fault , fkn dross

Its a piece of Junk,, hardly drops to 20 under room temp. NOT as Described!
+VEHICROS 20 under room temp is pretty good if you ask me! That would put it at zero when it's 20 degrees out!
As they only claim -16 then that seems good to me if you get -20 ("Cools up to 16°c below the temperature of the air surrounding the coolbox")
