That was very good! This is one of my favorite traditional Christmas songs. A little back story on Wenceslas, he was only a Duke while he was alive, he wasn't a king. After his Christian grandmother was murdered, his mother took over as regent for the kingdom. Some say his mom had her murdered, for when Wenceslas became Duke, he had her exiled. He tried to convert his people to Christians as well, and this did not set well with many, including his brother, Boleslav the Cruel, and so Boleslav, and his friends stabbed Wenceslas on his way to mass, and then his brother impaled him on a lance, killing Lance, on September 28th, 935. He and his murdered grandmother, were both made saints, and the Roman Emporer Otto the Great, declared Wenceslas be given the title of King, because of his piety.
