      eventually your adrenals will wear out (adrenal fatigue) and no mount of caffeine will produce your "energy" addiction and the caffeine crash will become permanent because of adrenal damage. then you will look and feel like a limp dish rag.

    yeah and coffee is a diuretical drink, if you drink 1 cup of coffee you need to drink 3 glass of water to balance it, or you'll be dehydrated. coffee is an addiction, its real.

    Paradoxically, caffeine can greatly help people with ADHD. I know from experience.
    It kind of makes sense, because ADHD drugs like ritalin and adderall are also stimulants.

    • @nedf8379
      @nedf8379 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it’s more the fact that it helps the body produce dopamine, which those with adhd naturally produce less of.

    With regards to pre-workouts, the people who are taking these are typically doing so because they are trying to be even more fit. Consider that along with the caffeine, coffee contains other phytochemicals that co-evolved with people. There's a great chance that coffee, that body can make use of, compared to pre-workouts which are a few chemicals made by man to sell. Said another way, pre-workouts are the nutrient devoid version of coffee. If you have evidence for or against this idea, please comment.

    I don't get caffeine except the little bit inside of chocolate. I refuse to take Midol because the last time I did, I was so jittery and my heart was racing since I have no tolerance built up for caffeine. I'm always surprised how people need it to wake up in the morning. I mostly drink water and unsweetened sparkling water. Some skim milk. No caffeine in these. I drink water with my oatmeal in the morning and I don't really have trouble waking up. It's not like I'm the pillar of sleep health. My mind is usually very active, so I sometimes only get 5 hours a night if I'm caught up researching something. Things just pop into my head and I have to learn about them. Hence why I'm here. I thirst for random knowledge. Best thing about the Internet.

      you are living proof people dont need the drug caffeine...its just an easy legal drug to take for quick 'energy". but it comes with a price called adrenal fatigue which can be permanent when the adrenals wear out and no amount of caffeine will bring back the energy.
