Fallout New Vegas Worst Ending

- I added bullet points on how I got each ending, since some of them aren't as straightforward.
I haven't seen anyone upload an ending like this so I decided to post it myself. IMO this is worst ending you can get in New Vegas. I've seen endings where people kill everyone in the game, but they felt a little unsatisfying. To me, the worst ending should be one that brings the most suffering, because some fates are worse than death lol.
Getting this ending was pretty challenging. Because of the consequences of joining the Legion, you have to be strategic about when you let companions go and when to complete certain quests. I had to take advantage of some exploits to get certain endings, like the one where you keep Arcade after "For Auld Lang Syne". I enjoyed the extra layer of challenge and seeing what my character transformed into. He became a sort of "Littlefinger" of the wasteland, earning people's trust before stabbing them in the back. It was one of the most satisfying roleplaying experiences I had in New Vegas. Maybe I'll do it as a letsplay in the future.
This is legit depressing.
Yeah accurate
I agree
House would never let Vegas go down like this
Speak for yourself, Profligate
That's why I always side with house
This ending makes Benny the good guy
A tragic hero. Sadly... he wasn't able to finish the job.
Serves him right for using a 9mm. Lol, history shows its quite effective, even in the wrong hands. Plot Armor can't be beat tho.
@@APerfectToolSifer Remember 9mm was used by the most evil political party in history, the EU.
honestly i would love to see a weird alternate timeline game where you play as "benny" stopping the courier, with the khans being one of the factions that can help
@@APerfectToolSiferwhen the time comes for Benny, I'm gonna use my 22 lmfao especially since he wants to complain about a 9
Doc Mitchell: what have I done?
resurrected evil incarnate
Doc Mitchell slowly, realizing he just revived the person that’s going to destroy the Mojave wasteland
ultrsakillkkdfmjgbd pfp???
They basically turned the lore of fallout into the plot of Urasawa's Monster.
Lanius: *you are an admirable adversary, Boone.*
Boone: *spits tobacco* "fuck off."
I love Boone’s ending. It feels very true to his character.
I really want to know what joke Arcade said that made Lanius CRUCIFY him
"I'm gay, you twink furry"
"do you know who joe is, lanius?"
"no, profligate doctor, we have no centurions of that name under my vangard, and i care not to have the time for every legionnaire's name."
"joe mama"
@@sovietunion7643 "Are you aware of the ancient Roman holiday of Secundus, Ceasar?"
"No, profligate, I am not"
"Secundus dick lmao gottem"
"Hey Lanius. Have you ever heard of a disease called Ligma?"
@@Mr-Eleven Lanius: Our scribes have no record of such ailment. What is this “ligma?”
Arcade: 😏
This is faaar from worst. If the NCR win everyone has to pay *taxes* ...
Rex's death was hard to watch.
Yes but it had to be done... for science
@@beta9557 Dr. Borous when asked about Cazadores and Nightstalkers:
I hate to agree with a profligate, but damn, that stung.
it is even worse than hard to watch because it says that he finally succumbed to the horrors of the wasteland, which means he really feared the wasteland and was scared when he died
The dog is part machine, but its brain is flesh.
Nicely done. The explanation points are very welcome.
You're right most "worst New Vegas endings" videos are just with everyone dead and true suffering you gotta work for, lol. Good job.
Boone, madlad to the end.
The player, having achieved their ultimate goal of the absolute worst FNV playthrough, had no more goals to pursue in the game. The endless joy the videogame once brought him, evaporated and the player was left wandering, bored, without any goal or distraction left in life. Depression and eventually dementia set in, as his surrounding family completely lost all contact with the player. He died in an alley, somewhere in the Kensington area of Philadelphia a few years later.
FNV but its the stanley parable
Gaming. Gaming never changes.
Now we need Ron Pearlman to read this
Boone after going one man army and rampaging legion: gets crucified
Lanius comes to Boone to see his last words: Any last words, filthy profligate?
Boone: **spits tobacco in literal grim reapers eye**
Good look spitting it into his eye when he have mask on
@@MrJedroi258 thats what i always thought, but if the ending says so, it says so.
@@MrJedroi258 Well Boone is a sniper after all. He probably has good aim :p
Badass. Defiant till the end.
@@MrJedroi258 the mask has eye holes and Boone is a sniper.
Evil Courier: I see this as an absolute win!
Evil courier vs lonely wanderer, soiled survivor, and 76's vault freshies in a fight for all of nukaworld
I vote for evil courier
Bravo! I agree that statistically this is truly the worst ending. I feel like just killing everyone is just evil in the short term, but not many people think of the long term evil implications. Anyways after sounding like a psychopath I’m going to do a James Bond build in Fo4 lol.
That's okay, we're all psychopaths here. Good luck with your James Bond build.
@@beta9557 Is it really psychopathy to enjoy this video without ever following through with anything that would have similar results? Presently doing a goody-two-shoes FO3 run, mostly just to see it on an ultrawide.
@@trog69 Good luck with your run! I guess it's not.... in a way.
@@beta9557 Having a blast. Danged mods have me clumping around Pt. Lookout again. Oh well, I needed to stop by and pick up my cash for the Moonshine anyway.
@@trog69 Haha. Back in the day, I used to play Fallout 3 without any mods. Was a lot of fun! But things have changed since then. Hope you found some good ones because Fallout 3's modding community isn't as prolific compared to New Vegas or Fallout 4.
Raul, Goodsprings, Rex and ED-E really hurt, couldn't really care about the others, but damn, Raul joining the Legion with Courier would be so kino
1:43 wtf thats good
lol not until all the ncr muties are dead!

This ending makes me certain that launching the nukes at the legion at the end of the DLC was the right choice. Fuck the Legion.
Ave true to caesar
Ave true to caesar
Ave, true to Ceaser!

Ave, true to Ceasar!
the guilt doc mitchell feels and the regret mr house felt
I like that a lot of these are just legion Victory, ceaser is dead and that lanius is just a massive dick.
In the immortal Words of Mr New vegas "and you thought your Boss was bad"
Man Boon's bad ending is just badass.
Hey, I know this is 2 years old, but keep up the good work!
Thanks! Not always active on this channel anymore but I appreciate the support.
Wipe the slate clean. :D
I'm not crying, your crying...
I’m all for the ncr when I first played nv I was doing legion missions and remember thinking these guys aren’t very good and kept getting worse then I tried to switch sides it was too late though
Legion are the good guys tho
@@edelweiss7928 NOEDF >noo nooo NOOO
The legion are the better choice, just not under lanius
Am I weird for having Arcade's death hit me the hardest? Like obviously Boon and Meyers went out like absolute chads and Rex was just depressing but I don't know, guess he meant more to me than I initially realised
that and he's also a member of the enclave, and does one of the most badass things possible if you assemble the remnants.
I’ve never been more sad about a video game. 😢
Boone died a gigachad.
This is great, good work!
The similarities between the Courier’s path in this ending were very apparent with Joshua Graham’s rise in the Legion.
Joshua was just a simple Mormon who was a translator for missionaries, but then he became more and more ruthless and slowly rose to fame as the second in command of the newly formed Legion.
Similarly, the courier started out obviously as a simple courier who through his ruthlessness slowly rose in the Legion’s ranks so that finally he became a second in command to Legate Lanius.
4:47 I don't know if Rex died is worst than memories become get assimilated as raider's dogs or Legion ones.
That's a little up in the air. You could say that those endings are worse, but I decided not to go with them because they both say or imply that Rex finds peace. Having him die left less... ambiguity to it so I went with that one. Of course, that's all up to your interpretation.
The legion one isnt all that bad
Legate Lanius: “why are you all booing? im right!”
Great video! Hope it soon gets the views it deserves.
Thanks man! Hopefully, one day.
Boone actually goes fucking rambo on them. What a badass
If you don’t make him vengeful he doesn’t even get captured. Legionairies don’t even dare to pursue his ever growing bounty.
They should have made an ending message for you if you got this asking you what the hell is wrong w/ you? Plz don’t ever play this game like that again😂
I'd tell the game no, and do it again anyway.
The only good thing about the ending is that the Brotherhood got destroyed
agreed. it’s the only thing i have in common with this ending
@tenzin1196 dang what's yalls issue with the brotherhood?

Ave, true to Caesar.
Just as I like it, my Legion wipe the slate clean, even when I'm not around.
After my character convinced the Great Khans to join the NCR, you said that if he betrayed you again, you would have him "hacked to pieces". So then when you had a tumor, my character used the auto-doc to hack you.

Weird ass comment
There’s a worse Novak if you get this ending and blow up the rockets as it’s full of radiation
Well my first playthrough is finally done siding with the NCR, now I feel like I should sign with the legion.
Why did this make me actually sad after watching this
Doing my first run on NV. Aiding NCR first but I'll do Legion after
This was very grim
jesus christ
Ave, True to Caesar. But damn Rex’s death being there just stings, man. Best Boy.
do you have a version of this in Fallout 4?
Clearly Elijah’s ending is the perfect ending for Vegas
Boone went out like a boss.
made the khans allign with NCR just to take the legions side haha

It's beautiful. I love this whole ending.
I mean, in my honest opinion, legion victory is one of the best ending under Caesar, and one of the worst under Lanius.

Genocide and enslaving women is actually the worst ending either way. Shocker.

What are you guys talking about? This is the best ending! Ave, true to Caesar!
You mean best ending
best ending.
So the best ending?
Yes!!!
I regret nothing.™
Yes Man is still worse to me, I genuinely feel like everyone who has picked it doesn't pay attention to the fact that he tells you he's just going to wait for you to die and that nothing you do matters. You become his tool, he lets you live the way you want until you die and will take over and make everything the way he wants to. He tells you this to your face and people just gloss over it. Kinda reminds me of a big dragon that tells you he's a horrible monster that enslaved and murdered countless men, women, and children and some people think it's all good because he sits on the same rock for the rest of his life
I just don't understand why anyone plays an in-depth RPG just to ignore the characters they meet, like make your own choices for your character sure but *listen* to the fuckers while they talk
He also has to do literally anything the Courier (and prior to the Second Battle of Hoover Dam, literally anyone else) tells him to.
Including transferring his obedience to a successor designated by the Courier.
I don't think the others are the ones not paying attention.
even if what you say is true. YM doesn't articulate any genocidal/slaving intentions towards the wasteland and isn't a trumped up barbarian crucifying the wasteland.
I think you’re confusing Yes Man with Mr. House, who treats you like an employee and is the DICTATOR of New Vegas
@@TheAsymmetrical good point, rare yes man L
Real recognizes real, at the end Yes Man practically recognizes you are the boss like every main faction does and says he will reprogram himself to obey you only, then the Courier either goes ghoul to rule for a long time or just prepares a sucessor, or just leaves Yes Man, he can order him to protect the independence of New Vegas after he dies so YM doesn't go full Skynet on everyone
Canon ending
Wouldn't that be wild! Wonder what direction that would make them take the series.
