- Ducati now offer dozens of different colour panels for their ever-popular Monsters. The idea is you get bored of red (or whatever), buy a new set of panels, fit them in just 15 minutes and bingo your enthusiasm is rejuvenated.

Agreed. After years of owning sport bikes and currently owning a 2005 Yamaha R1, I decided to try something smaller and sporty for the street. Where the R1 never gets to give all, the Monster gets to run hard and fast. The R1 is now strictly track (where it is at it's best). My first ride with a group of sport bikes, I was never left behind, drove hard out of corners, and had enough top end for the street. It's the total package for blazing the streets with Italian style that gets the looks!
wow, i really enjoy the new monster. looks really neat!
@gabrielran14
its called Chameleon. it a combo of light and layers of paint designed to do this. there is also a paint that acts like a pearl bc its white but when light hits it, it changes to blue, red, green, yellowish orange, and mixtures of those.
blue gas tank cover and front fender with a white rear would look sweet.
Great feature, Ducati is definitely my road bike election.
What year model is your Monster
Forgive my ignorance and the lack of a proper term, but there is no way to switch the metal bars right under the tank, is there? i know you can buy the bike itself with a variety of colors on the metal bars but is there a way to switch colors after a while?
In the UK we use Miles per Hour not Kph and use metric and Imperial systems.
The blue is by far the nicest
This guys good on camra you should use him more often!
That is a fine lookin bike
what did they nick it from buell?
omg that colour chage is a great feature and i can see other manufacturers stealing the idear
"that parking ticket was for a red monster, mine's blue!"
Only have to inform the DVLA , wait wks for updated V5 before riding. Mmmmmmm, not sure about this, and surely this idea applys to all bikes past and present already?!
It's a nice idea I guess, but every time you changed the colour you'd have to tell DVLA?
that looks so much like the suzuki gladius! zuki totally ripped them off on this one but the ducati looks way nicer
that red is rely nice but the white is better would be rely good to be able to change the color of your bike every week
Would be mine too if i could afford it!!!
you can now
Looks like it took longer than three minutes to me? and were are these 90mph motorways lol but wouldnt you have to inform the DVLA every time you changed the colour?
i would of got it sprayed purple =] with silver and white edging in a tribal style =]
That's the frame, so no, there's no "switching" them. If you want a red frame, buy the bike with the red frame and the color body panels you'd like. Same thing with black frame.
that looks quite a bit longer than 3 minutes :)
for me,yellow is better it matches the dark colored frame
no, its just clip-ons... I guess you register the colour underneath. You don't tell de DVLA when you put tank and saddle bags on do you??? I take it DVLA is vehicle registration.... I don't know I'm Dutch but I guess it's what the RDW is in the Netherlands. And here I'd have to register the colour of the coating, not any snap-on accessories. Even if they cover up the original colour
nice shoes....
do some of each lol
so around a 1000 US for a set of panels? that's cheap consider changing the colors by painting it cost as much
3 years...
mpg? ffs use the metric system
LOL that was just the funniest comment hahahhaa
lets try that sometime hehe jk :P
not really done in 3 minutes was it....
All that sound track NOISE.. why tf didn't you narrate through FFS!!!!
L twin not v
L TWIN ffs
Terrible red
looks like a pain in the ass... if you ask me... nice result tho
V2....booooring show me an Four-Stroke V5
Slip on panels for motorcycle? Ducati is really working hard to be tha gayest cycle in the marcet. Fuck that thing is ugly. Looks like it's made out of random scrap parts.
