my first iem is the moondrop chu 2's and they easily decimate headsets like jbl quantum 300, hyper x cloud 2 and many more for me. I absolutely love my chu 2's. If i can upgrade the experience from chu 2's, which one should I go with? I listen to almost all genres except rock. Please do recommend me what you think would be the best choice. So far, i have narrowed it down between Aria 2 and Hexa. The red/blue project also seem tempting.

Get Aria 2, Bass on Aria 2 is faster and has better control. Plus the soundstage is better than Red, so you will be able to enjoy live music and Studio recordings better. Lastly Aria 2 is more comfortable.

If you liked starfield look no further, get Hexa. You will love it. It's an open and more detailed version in comparison to starfield. Red would be a bit dark for metal

Do I require Shanling UA1 plus because it has identical Logic chips as iBasso DC03 Pro (praised by ton of reviewers and discontinued unfortunately) or just a Fiio JA11/KA11 is enough? I have tuned Hexa many times. Is it really lacking in the base? I don't know if that is the case since my Razer Earbuds which were somewhere between 50 dollars is somewhat better in base when tuned? Is this really the case?
Hexa bass is lean and clean. It's not as meatier as others provide. The focus of hexa is to provide clinical signature. And sice the DD cut off at 200 Hz so it doesn't take EQ well on low frequencies. Suggestions: Use narrow bore tips, the bass will.improve a bit
No Nova is not an upgrade over Hexa, it's a upgrade over Zero. Both are very differently tuned. If you want a clean, balanced and detailed IEM, go for HEXA. Absolute Value for Money. Hey, I have not used Z300, but Red has more balanced sound signature overall and is one of the best IEM. Now for BAS, do not count it for bass head satisfaction, it is good and has good rumble as well, but it lacks in volume as compared to some other Bassy HBB IEMs.

Fiio FH3 is a very good IEM for a bassy set, however it's a bit old now and availaibility is not there mostly. I would suggest you Supermix 4 in your price range.

Fiio JA11 is enough. DACs do not change anything in tuning of IEMs.
If you are planning something power hungry in future then go for KA11

I was looking to buy Sennheiser IE 200 so I watched many reviews of it but most of them were negative. Now I am looking at Truthear Hexa, Truthear Zero Red & Kz ZS12 pro x. How are they? Or can you recommend me some good ones under same price range. I am new to IEM’s and not an audio professional. Just wanted to listen music, video editing etc. sound quality and comfort are my main priorities.

@@treblewellxtendedMy budget is around INR 10-15k. I listen to all kinds of genres. For IEMs, I prefer clean audio. I currently use Airpods Pro and looking for better sounding IEM than this. It doesn’t matter if the bass isn’t very loud, but there should still be some bass-it shouldn’t sound too flat.

1. Supermix 4: Smooth and clean Harman sound with good textured bass
2. hidizs MP145: Very good tonality Planar - with lots of details and fast bass.
I would personally choose MP145, because of very good technical performance.
Bro, how it is compared to kz zs10 pro x ? I need bass and wide sound stage. Which is preferred ?
Haven't tried KZ yet so cannot comment.
But wide soundstage is not available in this budget. 7hz zero 2 is a good option for quality bass.
