I was there. My uncle was a friend of a roadie for a smaller band, and got me in since I was only 14 at the time. I was sitting backstage when they played. They walked right past me. Probably thought I had no idea who they were but I was thinking (in so many words) "Holy shit, that's Oasis." They've been one of my favorite bands since age 10 and I haven't looked back. Miss them like crazy. Love them no matter what, though.
I remember it well. Liam finally woke up during this tune and they turned out the rest of the set. It was the one and only time I was able to see Oasis.
I was there front row! Waited what seemed like hours to see them but did manage to also catch BT, Tiësto, Paul Oakenfold, Mars Volta, The Strokes, Foo Fighters and The Prodogy that day!! Liam was ecstatic and you could feel it as the crowd was too! It was a wonderful night!
Its awful editing. Never saw sth like this before. They cut several times which doesn't do the song justice. Wonder if this editing was acknowledged by the band
