Many thanks for the videos. Another good project for you! Good luck with rebuilding the carb, but if you can fix up those big old Mercury 2-stroke outboards you did, I'm sure you can fix that thing! Nice Don Shead Deep-V hull there. I guess you'll have to get the hull shiny clean to get the best out of her? But hope you've got a good anchor and chain, and maybe a wee auxiliary o/b to go on that bracket, before you put to sea! Keep up the good work. Best wishes.

      Thank you John!
I've got a nice big delta anchor with a good amount of chain. I will also sign up with seastart as a precaution. The boat will be on a swinging mooring during the summer, so I will give the Hull a couple of coats of antifoul.

Hey vice grip garage is a great Chanel, that carburetor is in need of some attention, I know you know your stuff I’ve watched all of you’re videos and you definitely have the talent for this small project. Looking forward to to seeing you on the water soon.

Yes vice grip is great, I agree the carburettor definitely needs a rebuild, it will take a couple of weeks for a rebuild kit to get here and they look complicated to set up, which makes me a bit nervous. I'll watch some more videos about quadrajets before I attempt it.

Yes I think you are right, I'm going to watch some set up videos first as it looks like quite a complicated carburettor.

drill 1/8 hole in end of blower motor and put a few drops of oil so it does not seize again
