I beg to disagree to you my friend, our smart guys are always ashore due to luring packages offered by companies abroad. If only our govt and politicians are not selfish Philippines maybe is as powerful as Japan at least. If we have Isko and Digong and many like them there would be a greater chances in the near 10-20 years for our country to leap its economy and technology.
The Philippine is on track to procure several more newer and more advanced warships. 3 more were delivered to the Philippines including BRP Conrado Yap and the two missile frigates that’s on its way here now. Also, the Philippine Coast Guard had acquired newer OPV’s from a french company and is undergoing sea trials now! 💪🏼 There are at least four from the last time we visited her.
Hopefully we got that one more Hamilton Class from the US, Fit her with at least a Phalanx CIWS, 2 quad harpoon, a hull mounted sonar and a 2x3 torpedoes. Quite a modest upgrade.

How about harpoon or exocet missiles systems updates? Todays warfare is over the horizon and beyond visual range, although you see the enemy on radar but doesnt have the capability to reach him, it will be a disadvantage, you can be killed without knowing what happen or who shoot your vessel. Anti missile defense capability and electronic counter measures is also a must for this ship against SSMs launched by either aerial or surface ships launch pads. Anti submarine acoustics is also a must to detect enemy submarines running silently below the waves, like a kilo class submarine, the arrival of ASW helicopters AW 159 wildcats is a boost in ASW capabilities of the navy. Any updates of this ship in beyond the horizon warfare, ECM, ASW, will boost our countrys' maritime and territorial defense capabilities.

anti air? air targets? what kind of targets? a kite? PN doesn't even have the ammo for that kind of capability on the 76 compact, not strales. and the secondary is not a CIWS its only a RCWS. opv not frigate. nevertheless the production quality is good and i appreciate the effort as mainstream media doesn't cover things like these but at least make it accurate guys. next time you do things like this which is great btw please consult people in the defense industry or defense enthusiasts. 10/10 still.

This should install a automated remote sensor machine gun which can track the incoming missiles that targeting the ship and also a guided missiles and surface missiles for additional defences system of the ship.
The newest ones are BRP Conrado Yap, Jose Rizal and Antonio Luna. Jose Rizal and Luna was built brand new in South Korea, while Conrado Yap was transferred from the Korean Navy. BRP Ramon Alcaraz is one of the last batches that was transferred from the US Navy.

The Chinese should be aware that their neighboring countries hates them passionately. Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam could form a military alliance anytime that can destroy the mainland in a matter of minutes. This mega alliance doesn’t even need the assistance of NATO or US.

The newest ones are BRP Conrado Yap, Jose Rizal and Antonio Luna. Jose Rizal and Luna was built brand new in South Korea, while Conrado Yap was transferred from the Korean Navy.
BRP Ramon Alcaraz is one of the last batches that was transferred from the US Navy.
