I find a job in India but do not want to leave my permanent residence. 1. Would I have to come every 6 months to Germany? 2. Would I pay taxes in India or in Germany? 3. Would I have to pay monthly health insurance and social security in Germany? 4. Do I need to have a registered place of stay in Germany? 5. Would I still be eligible to apply for German citizenship after 8 years living like this? Thanks in advance.

Your main contact will your Germany Embassy then in India. 2. After de-registering you will not have anything here.You also live in Germany then also there is no contact with Indian Government. If you have any tax to be paid in Germany then you can do via tax consultant. 3. Yes many international and big school sometime take NRI fees. Also in Engineering college if you admit you will fall under NRI Quota and then Fees is more. If you plan to go small city then primary school might not ask you. Big cities Like Mumbai, Pune definitely ask for NRI fees. 4. If kid is not in Germany then no Kindergeld. Today also you get Kindergeld if Kid is in Germany.
Can an oci card holder still avail all of the benefits of german citizenship such as getting paid if unemployed, almost free healthcare etc if he is living in india And how much pension will he/she receive, is it gonna depend on how much he/she contributed to the economy while living there or is it a fixed number and depends on something else.
