Didn’t realize “by the end of this I will know how to play the piano” was a groundhog’s day reference until now… I love it (caught Trapp’s the first time though, great ref)
Huh, I didn't understand this comment the last time I saw it. Now I get the reference, too. Hopefully that means my brain is working better than it was last time.
ify points out that his intro line is foreshadowing but they all are. ‘he’ll take another bite’ ‘seeing double’ ‘one appearance wasn’t enough’ ugh Samuel Dalton Reich you evil genius
I love the fact that at the end it fully sounds like they've gone insane after uncountable loops. Trapp is deliriously singing a song while carrying in the item he won fair and square previously, Ify is despairing over the fact that they're trapped like this, and Siobhan is obsessively repeating the answers as if that's the only thing they know anymore. good stuff
The song Trapp is singing is actually a reference from Groundhog Day, a movie where the protagonist (Bill Murray) it stuck in a time loop and repeats the same day for a REALLY long time.
If I had a nickel for every time, there has been a game changer episode that has had Siobhan trapped in a time travel related caper. I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but is weird that it's happened twice.
The last loop where Trapp is deliriously singing a Groundhog day reference, Ify is ragefully declaring they're all stuck in here and Siobhan mindlessly rambling the answers really adds to the insanity. It feels like they've been trapped for years and not, like, 4 loops.
@@edwardnashton553 It wouldn't surprise me if Sam Dalton Reich from Cambridge, Massachusetts who went to the Crumbly Square Theater liked watching birds and collecting bird bones from behind a garbage at applebees and then offered those bones as well as his life to the great All-Seeing Bird God (which he is a spy on Earth for)
Sam's mom pronounced his last name with a "sh" sound! That contradicts his father's claim (from Breaking News) that Sam has been saying his last name wrong. Robert pronounces Reich with a "k" sound. I did expect all the flashbacks to resolve into something at the end of the episode. I think they missed an opportunity, unless they are setting up a season long arc! 😂
This Game Changer just didn't work. Too many instances of "You were thinking outside the box in the wrong way so it doesn't count." That's poison to the entire premise of the show. Let the ladder (and Ify's initial yell, and so on) work, or stop making Game Changer.

I hate that I fell for Sam's now obviously planned 'oh haha my mic won't collapse' ploy the first time round.
