Although Changi Airport Group doesn’t allow double deckers coz of height limit, they do in fact allow bendies. SMRT is smart by deploying some A24s on 858. However, SBS unfortunately restricts all 10 of their units to Yishun feeders, even though Yishun feeders already have double decks. Just poor thinking on SBS’s part
Yeah the only SBS feeders imo that need bendies due to shuttling demand are 800, 806, and 807. 811 and 812 why though? I have no idea. Unfortunately these bendies are under SEDEP and 53 is under AMDEP so they can't deploy bendies on 53 for now, neither can just-as-crowded 27 since that's under HGDEP.
I belive the airport terminal height is for single decker buses 53 goes to the airport Double decker buses may crash into the enterance because they're too tall to fit through

It’s because 24 goes a long way. It only travels on a short distance on the expressway, followed by a long route thru Changi, Paya Lebar and Boundary, before finally returning to Ang Mo Kio.
Same as what happened to bus 190 mission impossible at Bugis Junction since April 2013.
I hope LTA will buy more bendy buses.Despite it taking more space,it carries more passengers and has no restriction in Changi Airport

Here we have low demand buses which are always double decked, while the high demand ones are stuffed like sardines in the smallest bus they have. Smh
SBST should use dds from Soon Lee package because the package have alot of dds even though they have low demand smh
Theres another service 34 which also goes by loyang flyover to changi airport, so people who take 53 can take 34 and switch bus.
If they going to bishan, can take 24

SG1766E Studios Since svc 24 is part of seletar and A24 bendy is in seletar, we will put SVC 24 as a bendy bus to airport like SVC 858
