Your videos have been so helpful! Thank you! Just one question...you said to make sure you disenroll from KDP Select before the 90 days is up. What are the disadvantages to staying in?
I'm so happy to hear this, Sue! Thank you so much! We can absolutely keep our books enrolled beyond those 90 days. I just mentioned it because many often only want to keep it in KDP Select for 90 days, but then forget to turn it off. Have the best day, Sue!
Another awesome video and one I wish I could have seen years ago. Thanks Eevie. With an e book, you don't actually need to put reviews in the book, like you do in a physical book, because the Amazon reviews are on the listing page?🙃 Do I have that right?
Hi Kathy! Reviews usually show up on Amazon's sales page for all formats of one and the same book. If they don't, then that means that the different formats (ebook, paperback, hardcover) may not be linked. So we always want to make sure all offered formats of our book are linked so they all show up on the same sales page.
Quick question… you suggest unenrolling so that our books do not automatically renew in KDP Select, why is that? You spent the whole video talking about why it’s great to be in KDP Select, and that you don’t have your ebooks other places than Amazon anyway. I’m guessing you’re implying that we should do that if we want to sell our eBooks elsewhere, but you don’t talk about that at all.
Hi Marsha! You're correct. If you wish to have your book permanently enrolled in KDP-Select, you can certainly do so and don't have to worry about unenrolling it. Many authors use KDP-Select mostly during the launch of their book.
Thanks so much for watching! I hope you found this video on your Children's Book Promotion and whether or not KPD Select is worth it helpful.

Can you offer your e-Book on a website with a LINK that drives the customer to purchase on Amazon, if enrolled in KDP Select?
