Definitely the most out of pocket 2025 announcement yet! So excited
It’s giving the back to back coaster releases that Six Flags Great Adventure did back in 2005-2006 with Kingda Ka and El Toro. Truly iconic.
Outside of maybe topthrill2 if it opens. Sirens will be not only amazing but definitely a public favorite.
Adding the lighting package, tilt aspect and audio will be the cherry on top.
They combined the new age elements of Rmc and have an awesome compact original design.
The restraints should be great. I've a family of 6, and I'm confident everyone will love this
Totally side swiped with this announcement and I’m here for it 💯!!
Great video! Looks like itll be fun!
I think this is going to be a lot more popular than valravn. Granted I’ve not ridden valraven yet tilt coasters are just so much less common than drop coasters
Im all for it. Looks unbelievable. Feel a little bad for Kings Island, but Cedar Point is their favorite child by far. Think they did this because of the bad taste TT2 put in everybody's mouth, mine included. Went in late August for 3 days specifically to ride TT2. Traveled all the way from Florida and spent thousands of dollars just to walk by it for 3 days. Still had a blast but said I wouldn't be back to the park for 2 years. Now, if they do have TT2 working and the tilt up, I will definitely be back next year. Game on.
honestly from talking to a lot of gp it really seems like the only people upset about the whole top thrill 2 debacle are coaster enthusiasts. i don’t think cedar point would do this just to appease coaster enthusiasts who make up a tiny fraction of their attendance
I was hoping for a Mack extreme spinner in 2026 at Cedar Point. This should have been put at Kings Island, Cedar Point already has Valravn which is similar.
Nothing similar about it, unless you say anything with a 90° drop is similar. It's like saying MF is just a bigger Magnum or Orion is just a bigger Diamondback.
@@jasonkloos6348 similar in that they both suspend you over the drop and then drop you as the main feature. Magnum and Millie are similar because they both broke height records and started new height classes (hyper and giga). Orion and Diamondback are quite different but are similar because the are both manufactured by b & m. Things can be different and still have similarities.
@@jasonkloos6348Orion is literally a bigger Diamondback lol
This makes zero sense to me. Valravn has a vertical drop, Steve, Maverick, Tt2, etc. For sure thought this was going to KI.
well you know whats crazy they knew what they were doing when they gave the 300ft dive on kings island survey while cedar point had the tilt design in the surveys for their parks to see which design the general public wants! Most people said hey give the tilt to KI it makes no sense to have 2 300 ft rides at KI with nothing unique! This is another slap in the face to KI!
At this point going forward, I'm pretty sure 90° drops are the new normal on thrill coasters.
Yeah because having 2 300 foot coasters is so horrible talk about being neglected. A giga dive would be not only an insane social media hit but it would be kings island’s signature attraction. A dive coaster that high is the equivalent being dropped off the edge of the Effile Tower. I’ll take that 1000 times over this.
@@JJJJ-he8bz yeah that sounds cool but literally you do get the big picture since KI is up Cedar Points Alley they dont want them to have anything signature wise over them and its the same with six flag parks! This is why no one wanted them to merge because they'll run each other down in the mud! The other parks would have higher attendance if they made more rides at their other parks! Cedar Point and Magic Mountain took like a whole half decade on their parks rather than giving it to someone else! They'll blame the attendance record being low for not building a new coaster but we know what increases it as well right! it is insanely horrible because you look at valravn and this new ride they have a unique difference other wise its pretty the same ride without the tilt!
@@LIGHTNIN2CRAFTYThey don’t want them having a good ride but they gave them 4 new coasters from 2009-2020 more than any other park in the chain including a hyper and giga and basically a enhanced version of Raptor yeah ok buddy keep thinking that. Also great adventure built Kingda Ka so what in gods name are you talking about?
This is very exciting
I hate how they do those inversions that aren't technically inversions. Like, that totally has more than 2 inversions. If your dang back is in the general direction of the ground at any point,I don't care if you're at a bank of 10 degrees off perfect, it's still an inversion. Like 2:00 That's totally an inversion. Surprising announcement though. Kind of think the tilt thing is a gimmick to an extent, but still cool.
No it isn’t an inversion
Yep
Yeah, didn't see that one coming... I was thinking *maybe* a Mack water coaster at the largest, but certainly not this! ...Although wasn't there a Vekoma Tilt Coaster just lying around somewhere that a park ordered and then changed their mind on? I almost have to wonder if this was even on Cedar Point's "Cedar Point 2025 Bingo Card", and if there was a mad dash to get a new, unique, *ahem* "working" attraction in place for the 2025 season just in case they need to throw their hands in the air and give up on that other thing... All that being said, are we EVER gonna get a new thrill coaster at KI??
dude its been only 4 years you got a giga last time hush
@@pancake_VwV 😂😂😂
@@iansdayoff 😭😭
It’s a great concept. I only wish they went with a more nautical color scheme. The red track doesn’t really fit.
yes
So, CP makes this announcement to take attention away from their blunder with TT2!?! 😳🎉
I don’t like the choice of putting a dive and tilt right next to each other. They have the same gimmick
Enough with the coasters……..CP needs some more new FLAT RIDES !
Valraven sucks (that “hang” is boring AF🙄). Just replace it with this 👍
Dude what if the breaks/locks release during the tilt lmao? Why do i think of this crap?
160 feet does nothing for me - 58mph? Isn’t it 2024? I mean make it 250 feet and 80mph
child please
So I guess Maverick is just a terrible ride then? Maverick was the end of the coaster wars. The new focus was on quality not tallest, fastest, etc. yeah the big ones that combine all of that like SV and i305 are great but Maverick, Mystic Timbers, Twisted Timbers, Lightning Run, Velocicoaster, etc. are all great rides that were no where near any sort of tallest/fastest record.
um did you see what they did with maverick? stop complaining and no one is telling you to go ride it
WHY DO COASTER ENTHUSIASTS ALWAYS COMPLAIN
it's the same thing as maverick, small but mighty. it's not about height and speed when you have 2 low to the ground inversions and some whippy transitions and what I bet will be some insane airtime. if you're looking for height and speed go ride millennium
