I'm English...and I'll agree with that. I love BJJ and respect the amount of dedication these fighters put into their trade. Brazil from what I know of it is a fast country, sometimes violent, but always exciting. In a way it's almost expected of Brazilian fighters to be top notch. Happy training.
Well OFFICIALLY Arona has said he'll start fighting again only and ONLY when he's done building his new gym in Brazil. And he estimated that would be near end of 2009. Although Wanderlei Silva has openly invited both Ricardo and Paulo Filho to train at his gym. Ricardo says he wants to train at his own gym but Paulo is taking Wanderlei up on his offer.
@Kranio i agree with u!!! but u must admit that russian people, must do much work because there is very cold, winter you must chop trees, alot of shit to do man!! we have not much time to train, u live in the very beautifull , worm country it is like heaven, you too have a lot of work, but U live in a country where God said, It is a best Place for the champions!!! so U must be best!!! :))) respect from Russia!!!
Absolutely. However even though I like Arona and all you have to admit. Even though it would benefeit him greatly, he's too cocky to go train with his longtime rival in Wand even though Wand is willing to bury the hatchet lol.
I agree with you on both point. I think he got robbed and I do think he's got a chance on winning agaist fedor. I won't say for sure that que would beat fedor, as we all know Fedor is not a dead body, he knows a lot. But We all saw that when Mark Hunt took him down he almost submitted him Fedor. I think it would be an amazing fight and I do thing Arona has a chance of winning...
Just waiting for you to sign with a good promotion and fight as soon as possible. MMA needs guys like Arona... he is the only man who ever beat Fedor Emelianenko(unfortunately he got robbed that time). Agreed?
@tatapuh2 just try to train in a freazing cold winter, i'm training every winter fuck it s cold but u must, run when it's snowing, because of that we too have a great champions!!! russians always respected brazilian fighters, ask anyone, everyone tells hardest opponents is brazilians!!!
close, but Gnp is forbidden in RINGS..it takes a away part of Fedor's game. btw, i want a rewatch with Arona and Shogun, Shogun beat him so easily...quite disappointed
You better watch your mouth kid. Against arona, he won by points, almost didn't won. Fedor may be good, but anybody, and I mean ANYBODY has what it got to easyly beat a Brazilian fighter. No country has as much good champions as we got. We're the finest.
@fmoa ha ha I see your comment is way old considering Fedor has now lost to two brazilian fighters. I was always a big fan of Fedor but hate obsessive fans of his like you who have man crushes on him.
O bom e velho aluno do saudoso mestre lélio de Araruama, esse é de fato um dos motivos para orgulho de nossa região. Deus te abençoe guerreraço.
Meu ídolo. Arona !

the rules were very different though. not the same mma rules as today. striking was limited.
Absolutely.
