Absolutely crushing job! Nicely done. Still angry Jeff's talents are being wasted in Arch Enemy, but he left us a lifetime of riffs and licks in Nevermore, Conquering Dystopia and his solo work.
Thank you! I agree, Nevermore and his solo work is Jeff's best. Arch Enemy would've been a bit better if they'd let Jeff have a hand in writing some of the music.
Stellar performance mate. You accurately recreated Jeff’s brutal, clean and inspired playing style with the strict timing enforced haha. Just the mixing is a of the audio is the only concern. But besides that, excellent job you!
@@evanmaurus Can you give some tips about playing in Loomis stuff im really into him. Playing for 1 year and i can play his 3-4 nevermore solos (river dragon, this sacrament, born, heart collector and engines of hate) I wanna play all stuffs as clean as possible. What do you recommend on this style, spesific songs or exercises? Im open to everything you give thanks
@@flashen I'd say you're off to a great start. I recommend that you practice everyday. When it comes to playing guitar solos, or any tricky riffs, I recommend that you start playing slow, then working your way up to full speed. It's also good to take some breaks so your mind and fingers can digest what you recently learned.
One of the hardest things in a cover is matching the feel of the original song. I think you did really great with that here, always nice seeing Jeff Loomis covers. Keep it up man!
Excellent man, mad skills! One of my favorite songs in any genre. Every time I listen to Born, I picture Nevermore about to start a Sunday evening show, Idk why. Rip Warrel😥
I took a photo with Warrel a week before his death during a Megadeth concert here in Brazil. Man, I cried like a baby when I heard he passed away. It is even difficult to listen to Nevermore (even though it is one of my favorite bands ever). Great performance on the video, btw.
Sick cover, man. One of Nevermore's best tracks. How did you put this together? It sounds like you removed the original guitar parts from the song and then mixed in your own.
Thanks! I did remove the original guitar tracks and put in my own. I used a neat thing called Demucs. It's a stem separation program. It's a nice thing to have especially doing covers!
Do you have the tabs? I checked online and it's definitely incorrect from the websites I've looked at. And I'm too shit at guitar to be able to tab this myself unfortunately.
Monster-Level...just speechless... 🦖
Excellent it is as hard as it sounds.
This goes hard, Nevermore forever
Isso sim que é música

@@evanmaurus Completely agree. Plus, to limit Jeff to just a 6 string is a shame. A damn shame.
I don't like arch enemy but I'm glad Jeff is in the band, he deserves to get paid
Arch Enemy's back catalogue is more varying and technical than you'd imagine. Their Stigmata album is a masterpiece of riffs/solos.

No, I have no hopes that i ever will play this song in this life…
Brilliant!!!
Well played, Jeff Loomis is not human.. More Nevermore!!!!!
Thanks! I will be doing some more nevermore covers in the future for sure.
@@evanmaurus Can i ask you something about Jeff?

I don't have tabs. I learned the song by watching videos of Jeff playing the song from the "young guitar" video series.
@@evanmaurus No worries buddy, thank you!
