Conan #24: Barry Windsor-Smith just got better and better on that title, becoming the complete artist in the sense that he did pencils, inks and colours - the whole package. A Red Sonja movie? I'm not holding my breath. We haven't had an authentic Conan movie yet, not one that's true to REH's character and his world in spirit and fact. The Arnie movies were entertaining for their time but not really Conan, the 2011 Jason Momoa film killed any hope for another film for a decade at least. The best REH adaptation I can recall seeing is the 2011 Solomon Kane movie with James Purefoy. Whoever designed the covers to Secret War 1-5 did a great job, very eye-catching.
Jim, at 12:45 please let us know which book you purchased. The last "America" series ended more than 5 years ago (Marvel?). The cover was not visible. Hardly at all. Thanks.
Those Akira covers with all that black definitely suffer from cover rub. Also those card stock covers also chip. Just need 2, 5 and 33-38 to finish my run.
Congrats on the Hawkman run Jim!!! As an old school run collector myself, I ❤ that feeling. 🎉

Congrats on Hawkman! No better feeling than completing a run!
Great video. Congrats on completing the Hawkman run! I’d love to see a bit of your sports card collection down the line.
Me too! I have all my cards from the late 80s/early 90s and then when I got back in from 2006-2009. Getting the itch to try collecting again
Wow Now Those are some Amazing Deals Brother ....
Jim, you can't beat the Barry Windsor-Smith CONAN,, esp. on Red Sonja!!
I like when you said “with the precision of a surgeon”. 05:12
Nice haul.

JLA was my favorite DC book as well.

From what I saw it looks like the 2017 series #1. Which is her only series to date, I guess.
Jim... If you keep opening packages @ superspeed the JLA is going to Call you!!
REALLY didn't know Sturgeons were that Precise...!!
Just wondering how many JLA issues are you short on?
I’ve been wondering the same thing.
Whoever shipped Akira needs negative feedback
Those books definitely got more damaged/color rub, packed and shipped that way.
