Me too brother! I scored one in a 9.8 after submitting to CGC. It's the only 9.8 I own. I just recently completed my collection of all the New Warriors members' first appearances! I'll submit those, along with my pristine copy of Thor 412 next!

It may have cost 2K but I think you got a great deal. Even in the downmarket, you should be able to double your money even when you keep a few of those books for your PC.

Good collection gary, yeah you paid a bit,but the first appearance's cover that i think,1rst bullseye,tarantula,taskmasterr ,deadpool ,hush,gambit,ulik,destroyer,beta ray bill and so on,plus lots of little keys, it'll work out fine IMO ?
Love the huge Thor run, even as low-grade readers! Sometimes dudes are just lookin' to fill holes in a collection for just that purpose, and those early JiM issues aren't getting any younger.

I'm not sure yet. I haven't come across silver in a while, so the price seemed fair. I'll move some on live streams, but a good amount will be in the boxes for conventions

I was upset when I picked up my Batman 608 second print. Thought the guy forgot to put it in my box so I grabbed it only to find out I already had the first print. Pretty happy about it now.

There arent too many better covers in a consistent run as there are in those early Thor. Im trying to put together that run so ill offer you $50 more than you paid for the thor box....if only it was that easy.
These books show why polypropylene bags suck for most comics up until the late '80s to early '90s. Mylar, baby. Mylar.
