    Had the same experience when I visited my Ex GF aunts house, definitely eye-opening on how other people live. I was the only foreigner in the whole suburb as far as know

    Hey, these areas looked very clean and tidy. They dont all look this good. As for the room search. This may have been one where Anne needed to be the one filming, and you needed to stay away. Your being there as a walking ATM, will seriously impact her bargaining and negotiating power on the price.

      no she let them know and is familiar with Filipino price, they grew up in it and there seems to be an understanding and code 👍

    The adage of " you get what you pay for " definitely applies to those rooms shown. I'm sure there's some out there who can't even afford those rooms so let's not judge and just appreciate what we have atm.

    Hello, watching this I can see how you feel out of place sometimes, and I wonder how much of that is the language. I was there when the base was still there, my friends and I came up with a way to talk that bothered our wives/girfriends. Speak in pig latin or english really really fast. You'll be surprised at how little they'll pick up what you say.

      i have no problem with Filipinos but when you enter areas like that they look at Foreigners differently becuz they seldom see any there, theyre wondering why youre there and i try to place myself living in those conditions.. its a strange paradox

    Thanks for the informative video. I'm pretty sure that some of your subscribers have never seen this part of the Pi. It's eye opening and it exists all over and not just Angeles. Once he gets established, he'll be able to upgrade his living quarters. I enjoyed this video.

    I liked the first and last place. The last place having its own CR is nice. The first one needs a lot of work so if the price is low that might be worth it

    This is the Philippines I love to explore as the province is where you meet and see the real Philippines.
    Plus, it's not as scary as the first impression gives you as you are treated very well by the locals.
    To me, it's the reason I go to the Philippines to be out of my comfort zone as the big cities are to westernised for my liking.

    You're getting too deep into the weeds for me. Looks a lot like California where there's no middle class, just rich and poor. The poor get everything free and the people that have jobs pay for it.
