Bless You Robert, now at the age of 71, I am on cusp of almost unbelievable greatness. After 11 years and two months, involving over 40,000 hours, I am within 3 weeks of the pay off. Thank You Robert for your Wisdom, Knowledge, and Phronesis, and your willingness to share it all with the world. The funny thing Robert, I knew from a very early age I was destined for greatness. At the age of 17 I had a very vision of exactly what I would look like when I achieved greatness. I look in the mirror now Robert, and I see that exact same person I saw at 17 years of age. Here is the spiritual aspect Robert, I want no one to know it come from me, except a minuscule number of people, I am not interested in fame in the least. God Love You Robert.

The thing that ultimately made this man a legendary writer is the anger that he had against the behavior and hypocrisy of certain people. Redirecting anger into risky creative ambitious hard work is not something that we all can do. Great men are built differently. As would say Grothendieck, great research is born from the ability to be alone and stay away from the crowd

I thoroughly enjoy hearing Robert talk about these kinds of topics. It almost feels spiritual, yet practical at the same time. It's refreshing to hear something that you can sink your teeth into without it being detached from reality.

The 3 laws of power involved in the game of managing appearances.
    1. Law 4: Always Say Less Than Necessary
    2. Law 28: Enter Action with Boldness
    3. Law 34: Be Royal In Your Own Fashion: Act Like a King To Be Treated Like One

That 50 Cent book changed my work and professional relational style completely.
Coming from a history of success, I found myself in a job with a jealous and incompetent boss (who was fired later for it) who made my life hell at work and sabotaged me constantly.
In the end, I won and let him destroy himself but I made many of the mistakes that the 50 Cent book says to avoid when being in a ruthless organization.
Highly recommend people to read it.

i've been medically diagnosed with ADHD since i was a child and whether or not you believe in it i dont care. i'm just sharing my take a way from this video. something i've realized and struggled with over the years is the medicating of my adhd with adderall. adderall has it's pros, but boy oh boy does it have it's cons. but to keep this short and to the point, what this video really brought to light for me is my aura and the effect adderall has on my aura. when i take adderall, sure i'm focused, calm and able to do the task at hand, but it also dampens my aura. like, tremendously dampens it. while in my sober, non-medicated state, my aura is just sooo much more powerful. i'm not trying to sound narcissistic when i say this. it's just something i've truly noticed over the many years of medicating my adhd. when un-medicated, all of my intense internal conflict and internal friction returns, but my aura is so much more powerful.
when i'm unmedicated and going throughout my day doing the things i need to do and what not, i feel as though that when i walk, i walk with enough power to smash through a mountain, i feel so grounded in myself that i feel like the ground beneath me cracks with each step i take because my aura is so powerful. my light is shining, my eyes are clear, my smile returns since i'm not all dulled down from adderall, and when i interact with people my interactions are just soooo much more positive because my aura isn't tainted with adderall.
it just really is a difficult thing to overcome, managing to find a way to navigate adulthood without the assistance of adderall. because i like the unmedicated version of me much more than i like the medicated version of me. and i can tell others do to. i'm 27 now and just lost my job and am entering an unknown, new chapter of my life and now is my opportunity to find that "thing" that actually interests me. a career path that aligns with my natural strengths. instead of changing myself to fit my environment, i'm going to try my hardest to change my environment to fit me. no more conforming. nothing about this will be easy however. it never is. for any of us. that's just life. but one thing that certainely helps make life a little easier is maintaining a powerful aura. because then you attract the right people and circumstances in your life. i'll try my best to do life without the assitance of adderall. i'll try my best.

I learned to speak what I believed was right and true, to articulate my words, to read and write, and to speak not for my ego (status, fame)
Now, when I speak, all heads turn to me. I get a little flustered when that happens, but that’s a sign that what I’m doing is working; people are interested in what I have to say!
I would like to express my gratitude to Robert Greene, and many other mentors for helping me to achieve this level of my social status.
Without my mentors, I would’ve just retreated into my safe, silent bubble!

Well... the problem that I have with this -- appearances and reality have little to nothing in common. On appearances, I am a nodding little weakling. Agreed. That's appearances. On reality -- I have been to the summits of the tallest, coldest, most-remote and dangerous mountains on earth. Next year, I will be the first person on earth to successfully complete a 100 mile ultra marathon in every state of the USA. You can't fake a 100 miler ultra and you certainly can't fake getting to a summit. I am big on reality, just not so much on appearances.

You must strike to be powerful, and people will respect you. As Nicolló Machiavelli said in THE PRINCE, "It is better to be feared than loved." As a 13 year old author, this is my debut book. Please have a look.

No, that never did occur to me. I did know a guy who tried to expound intellectual superiority by using nonsensical run-on sentences.

@@thomcarr7021 It’s disappointing you interpret my statement that way, I’m not sure how can I explain it better other than not thinking the world is ultimately nothing more than a zero sum game of self interested actors whose interests inherently have and will always have conflict and attempting to promote harmony by seeing deeper needs are mutually prosperous. Google non dualism

listen man, enjoy your childhood, explore, have fun, dont get caught up in these mental games. these tips and books are for later life, don't burden yourself with such views now. The ideas presented by greene are to be taken in carefully - he writes in a nietzchean-like style, very power domineering, and tempting with how... easy such ideas are to implement. such a worldview will really mess your head up, trust me, ive been there and really experienced what such extreme views can do, at your age aswell, still tryna be a better person. 🤞

I retired from my corporate job aged 55 and caught sight of myself yesterday: the dresses have been replaced with jeans & tee shirt; the heels with trainers; the leather jackets with waterproof ones; the handbags with a rucksack. Where did I lose myself? I cried my eyes out at home - then packed up all the ‘comfy’ clothes ready to be donated. 2025 will be the year I get my sparkle back!
