The 48 laws of power, and Mastery changed my career when it was in a bit of dead end hole. One of the best authors around - I carry both of these books with me today, and regularly read back.
To prove Mastery is genuinely a true concept - I started as a Butchers Apprentice, moved on to the military, became a qualified Plant Engineer, moved to working in Prisons, eventually became a Prison Governor - today I have moved further away from that line of development into a new phase - and a phase that I am truly enjoying, where I can use everything I have learnt in all of these domains to drive me forwards today.
    - and I love Ryan Holiday too - a legend - and another person whose books have helped sculpt how I manage me.

I find lots of wisdom in your teachings, Robert. I was recently prompted in my spirit to upload my testimony, it’s the only video on my channel where I talk about having an encounter with what religious people call The Holy Spirit while I was serving in Iraq with the Marines. That experience changed my life, especially because I’m not a religious person, I had joined the Marines to be violent and not get in trouble for it. I hope my testimony blesses you, along with anyone else that views it. You’re the man 👊🏾

The greatest strategist was Sun Tzu. The Art of War. His stratagems can be applied to everything. Musashi applied this knowledge in his own book, The book of Five Rings.

    • @elisadelaurenti2516

@@silveriver9 I can't really take this seriously, even though I am fairly well versed on the History of Japan, with a particular focus on 12th through 17th Centuries.
Sun Tzu rules this category, and likely always will.
I'd sure like to see another Human beat his Strategic Prowess.

60s seem to be pretty great for you.
Seems the disparaging of older folks comes from the persons who's intent is to overlook or shame them for aging. Nullifies all their achievements and potential.
The seeming Self hate you label as "youth Zeitgeist", it's projected fear.

Nice story about the Japanese samurai being a winner. But what about having a review of Jesus and the last supper. Logistics to feed the inmates of primitive incarceration may not be as reliable as starry eyed people do we believe? During the days, weeks or months leading upto the last crucifixion. But Jesus was a creative person and in spite of Italy's poor logistics for keeping people fed Jesus found he could partake of his own bodily products because he was God's son it was just like a last supper where Judas or Jonah didn't run him through with his sword Excallibut or use an alias to become a sailor!

@ No, Robert Greene has a lot to offer. I apologize if I went too far or offended you… My point of view is the common thing that we all do, which is to become entrance by the wisdom of teachers… and keep looking for the next wise statement that might change our lives. I want to turn that learning is a change in behavior. So it’s not just a matter of having more information but actually doing something differently. Thank you for responding… I wish you all the best.
