As Pakistan is all set to host the Shanghai Cooperation Summit (SCO) In Islamabad on October 15 & 16, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar's visit to Pakistan will be the first instance since 2015 amid heightened tensions between the two neighbours.
While both sides have ruled out any formal bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the SCO Summit, Jaishankar is expected to participate in a welcome dinner hosted by Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday, ahead of the event.
In an exclusive interview, Barkha Dutt speaks to Nawaz Sharif, former Prime Minister.

From the past, we know how quickly Nawaz denied another off the camera interview in which Barkha claimed he called Dr Singh “ daheti aurat”. His comments, or lack of comments , are irrelevant today. Nawaz is simply one of the many ex PMs that f Pakistan.
Pakistan has to honour its past commitments before India should even think of talking to Pakistan. Let it take action against terrorists and let us the talks focus on return of POK to India
For the betterment of Pakistanis, Pakistan should forget about Jammu and Kashmir and have a good relation with India . They should not fall prey to any foreign power. Please don't allow the general people to suffer any more. Since Pakistan know that their ambition will never fetch results, why they cannot take a positive step to improve the relation for the sake of the Pakistanii people.
