Regarding speed, i gave up waiting for it here so purchased a Archer MR 600 to try against my Huawei B535. The top speeds are no better but what I have found is that the Tp link router gives a much more consistent speed. I now get 57-61mbps from a 4g sim, whereas with the Huawei it seemed to 'bottle neck' every few weeks and would drop the speed to 10mbps or less and then need a reset to get it back to speed. The TP-link does not seem to suffer this problem. Hope this helps the community with their router choices.
Maybe if you'd actually done a comparison download test we could have responded with some useful comments. I've just moved to an area with abysmal broadband and atrocious indoor signal, so looking for something I can connect to an exterior aerial. My thoughts are currently leading towards tp-link, but a speed test and consistency would be enormously helpful
Just curious what setup worked best for you in the end? I'm in the same situation as you, looking for the best router and antenna setup for a weak signal area.
I purchased archer 600 but after some time it was not detecting the sim card. I returned to the shop and it was not repairable and they returned my money. Worst experience
Wasted eight minutes of my life watching this, I was expecting to see live speed tests to compare the two, but we only got as far as the boxes being opened
Eita m located in pta so im about to upgrade to B535 and didn't know the difference between Huawei B535-932 LTE Router vs D-LINK AC1200 DB. So do you think its better off to get the fibre and buy the D-LINK AC1200 DB

Three things... What bands does the modem have? what bands does your 4g internet provider use? and how much db do the antennas give you... That's all you need to know Just looking at this review, as long as the bands supported by the Tplink device are supported by your internet provider, then I'd go with that. It's possible the huawei device doesn't even allow external antenna connections, so you'd have to hope you lived in a high coverage low interference 4G area...
@@FUNTIME-jf7rv I bought the rabbit ears antenna and they made no difference at all, I'm still getting better speeds than with the internet in my area so still happy with it but did expect some improvement with the external antennas, i guess it depends on location and local mast proximity.

Bad experience with the Archer mr600 so far! I've been unable to get mine working here in UK. Over several days been passed up through 3 levels of TP LINK offshore support, it seems needs one of their top level engineers to try and resolve it ! Deeply frustrating as I need to connect for 3/4g as no landline broadband in new home location. Using my iPhone as a hotspot is struggling. Once up and running I was intending to add an external aerial like the Poynting XPOL-1 omni directional, to further enhance the signal.
We have different versions at different times, I believe the one we have at the moment does but that could change, contact the chat on the website to get up to date information
Hi there, If I use a 4G/5G sim card only with the MR600 router, will my download speed be up to 300 Mbps or 150 Mbps? unless I attach a Cat 6 cable? Just so you know, I plan to use it as a sim card router only (without ethernet cables). If 150 Mbps download speed without cat 6 cable still, as might as well get an TP Link MR400. Please advise. Thank you.
I thought this was going to be about performance and reliability - or at the very least "ease of setup". On the upside, I know that one has a much nicer box than the other. Yay.
Hi. Since both these routers use a wireless connection (4g/LTE) they are not the best choise to use for online gaming. The connection latency depends on many variables such as how crowded the cell tower is, the whether conditions, the proximity to the tower, the use of external antennas or not and many more. It is not terrible but is worse that a wired connection, especially if you can get optical fiber connection. Most likely you also live in an area where you can't get a decent wired connection to the Internet and therefore you have to use a mobile data connection. I have been using successfully the HUAWEI-B535 and overall I can say that is very good for video calls and even online gaming if you don't expect lower latency than 22 ms. On TH-cam there is a tutorial on how to trick this modem to agregate the fastest bands available on the tower that you will connect to. The TP-LINK doesn't have this possibility of letting you choose the best and fastest bands. Good luck.
I looked at his available videos and he never does any speed test of any devices. Just a lot of talk about the specs that you can see yourself on the manufactures web page. Useless videos.
i chosen 535 because i can use my unlicall &data. like porting my landline number. to handseat and use it as regular home phone .the difference is i have home internet already 2in one.
