Hi, I am thinking of getting this game but idk can you give me your opinion? I love to play franchise but I usually only play madden and as you probably already know it gets very repetitive and boring, I used to play fifa in manager mode(franchise) and it was cool too even tough I don’t really like soccer. @@sebastiannalfredoo5665 It is easily the most in-depth franchise mode of any sports game. That being said, it could be tough to navigate with no baseball knowledge. But I started playing NBA 2K21 Franchise with no basketball knowledge and I am having a blast.
One thing I learned during my first couple franchises was not to be afraid to resign the lower rated players at your ballclub. Not everyone is a stud, but a baseball organization needs bodies to fill out spots and make the lower levels work.

Rebuild idea: It might be impossible but I was thinking do like a son of a former baseball player rebuild So like Bo Bichette, Clay Bellinger, so you could have Cody, Craig Biggio, so you could have Cavan, Vladdy, Ke’Bryan and etc. it might be cool but a little hard
I usually turn injuries off on all my sports games simply because no game has managed to master it in a realistic way. I would love to leave it on but it gets to the point where too many start players are injured. It quickly becomes too unrealistic especially in a long rebuild game.
Little bit of a fun fact about CPU Roster control: You cannot trade multiple players when it is turned on. It's just a glitch that San Diego Studios hasn't fixed, but yeah, keep that in mind as a downside to turning it on.
I still really want the ability to do a road to the show with a real player. Like I know you can player lock in franchise but I want to be able to go into road to the show and select a real player (major or minor leaguer) and play out the rest of their career. Would be fun to see if you can continue greatness, turn around a career, etc. so many possibilities just like RTTS with a user made player.
Could we get a transitioning from off-season -> spring training -> regular season and how to manage your roster to preserve options, not have the cpu randomly call up send down guys when you advance. This has always confused me

This is great. I do have one question that I can’t seem to find a solid answer for. After I’ve signed a free agent, how long do I need to wait before they’re tradable? I’ve seen some people say they think it’s 30 days, others say they need to play a certain number of games, but it seems to all be just guesses. Any help there would be great. Thanks man!
Why not try it out? If you don't like it you could always just start a normal franchise. That's the fun of it, just test out things and see what you like!

Any general tips from the community in addition to these tips? Also, is it similar to Fifas franchise mode? Less complex, more complex?
I’ve always just picked my starter before the game and use my 4 that way and the 5th I always use out of the bullpen as a long reliever since he has to be on your roster anyways

Hi, i have played mlb 18 , 19 and 20 and had no issues saving an in game save before making a risky move. If I decided iwanted to go back to that point I would eject the disc then re insert which would bring me to all the last saved games and in game saves being able to pick up where I left off, but in mlb 21 I can save an in game save but can't find it or go back . I looked in File Management and it says no files available ? Any help appreciated.

How do I get to the strike zone view. I'm in strike zone 3 but since I'm so new I'd rather have strike zone or strike zone 1 I guess it is! Also I cannot get created player on the free agent roster.
I like the suggestions but I would turn on forced trades because the cpu makes stupid trades sometimes. In my season it traded one of my best relievers for a player i did not even need, which screwed up my season. With forced trades you can undo a dumb cpu trade. Just dont abuse the trading, make only realistic trades and dont take advantage of it. You're only cheating yourself if you do really.

I created a player outside of franchise and loaded the roster with myself as a free agent and signed him to the Braves. The problem is I put him in the lineup but after my first AB i get replaced defensively and I am out the game. Can anyone help me so that I can play and now just bat once?

I lost the first one because I'm still trying to figure out the base running and how to steal but I did win the second game in the 15th inning smh. I play on XBOX 1. BTW, I cant remember if u said u play MLB The Show 21 on PS or XBOX1, but I quick tutorial on baserunning and stealing bases. Since I've been having trouble with base running on XBOX 1, I just hit the left button to send all runners but that's worst way to run bases when you have runners at the corners
I put my sliders settings all the way up on myplayers hitting , contact etc.. it gave me a notification that I won't get XP after games (which unlocks packs and free cards)... does XP really make a difference in MPLAYER career?

They need to upgrade the personnel hiring process. It’s so bare bones, and has no depth or immersion.

I’m an Xbox guy so this is my first year of the show since PS3 era. Would you recommend doing March to October into franchise or do them sepperate
March to October is less hands on BUT if you want to you can play March to October first and after that first season continue it into franchise mode.
Why not try it out? If you don't like it you could always just start a normal franchise. That's the fun of it, just test out things and see what you like!

The morale system is gone. It's a background thing and doesn't even have it's own tab on the player card anymore.

you have quick counts on. Somewhere in settings or before you start a game, I forget where it is, but it is there
