I went thru that 40 years ago , my father , a 30 Marine , told me it was summer camp for troubled children .. I wasn’t a bad kid but trouble always had a way of finding me ... that summer, that problem ended

Man those teens on the bus can sound louder than Marine recruits on day one at 0:07

Oh man, I remember when the drill instructor got on the bus and started screaming! It was at the moment I realized that this was not going to be a summer camp! We trained for 2 straight grueling weeks! I can still taste the sweat and dirt and climbing ole smokey! Class of 1993! Semper Fi!

1993? Which Platoon? I was in 5th Platoon with Sergeant Bennett and Corporal Amora.

A Drill Instructor who doesn't go for the gold with saying the "F" word?

My DI, Sergeant Bennett, did with one kid who wouldn't stop laughing for 20 straight minutes. Trust me. I heard every word from 30 yards from the main head. The laughing sure did stop.
