    💯 On the customer service comments. I'm Filipino from the US and experienced that a lot on my visits to the Philippines. It's systemic and normalized. A professional level of customer service doesn't seem like a big priority there in general, but I should say I've had some excellent service there in some places. It's not a deal breaker, and I'd move there if my wife (who grew up there) would agree to it.

      I hope you will enjoy our country. Living in the US, Phoenix area, I’m not used to the lifestyle in the Philippines, particularly the driving and customer service. Leaving me infuriated. If you haven’t been in Thailand, go visit. You might find it more suitable. I tried the Philippines for 5 years, bought a car and two lots, but my sanity is important. Who knows, Philippines might be really for you.

    Filipino customer service is really not that good. I can relate to your wife, so many times you are literally in front of the counter in a Supermarket and instead to scanning the items they will chit chat with their co-worker, not to mention they really move slow. So no surprise why the lines in a supermarket are long and takes time. This is one thing that needs to change as it hampers production on the business side and literally wastes a lot of time for the customer side.

      This is as simple as;
      Bad experience - Tell people about it.
      Good experience - No comment.
      Dude.... You can only share bad things you experienced and not be thankful for experiences you enjoyed? You're one ungrateful person.

    • @ninkichan7209
      @ninkichan7209 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@leprechauncute Who are you again? First of all, what do you know about my personal experiences and what do you know about what I am Grateful for? WHO are you to tell people that they only share Bad and not good ones?
      As of the writing of this comment there are at least 5 thumbs up which means I am not alone on this experiences, people agree because it is TRUE, One thing Filipinos don't like is discuss their negative traits out in the open.
      The lack of Acknowledgement / Accountability of the social issues is the the very reason why they are not getting solved in the first place. Instead, Filipinos like you will reply to people like me who tell the truth and act like a VICTIM.
      Lastly, WHO ARE YOU to tell others that they are ungrateful? Just because you do not see me commenting on the things that I am grateful for, does not mean I Ungrateful for anything. Typical Filipino, JUDGEMENTAL much?

      If you want faster service then you can hire someone to do a specific job fast and efficient in a day. We call it pakyawan. But it is more expensive for a company to pay the employee in pakyawan than a regular low rate job at a supermarket/retail. That is why most of which are chill at work. If only companies would pay the employee at a better rate and demand the employee to be more efficient and that is a win-win. Philippine BPO employees are more efficient on customer service while getting a much better paycheck.

    • @ninkichan7209
      @ninkichan7209 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@dThurd So the issue is both the companies and the employees. The Companies don't supervise their employees properly to make sure services are done well. The Employees are not doing well what they are expected to do because according to your comment, they are not paid well. Well, they applied for this jobs and so if you are going to do a shitty job, you do not deserve a raise. There are 2 ways you get promoted: 1.) Doing a good job 2.) You're good at office politics. It does not make sense that you choose a low salary job and complain about it. Nobody is forced to take those jobs, if you do not have qualifications to get a higher paying job, that is on you.

    • @ninkichan7209
      @ninkichan7209 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@leprechauncute This is simple as ... You say something positive, people are all over you. You say something negative but REAL, people are in denial. Grow some balls and acknowledge areas of opportunity. The reason The Philippines is moving slowly in terms of economic progress is the people itself. Bad habits that have been inherited from generations and when it is pointed out, they get defensive, How can issues be solved in the first place if the people at fault lacks ACCOUNTABILITY. And lastly, what makes you think I am not grateful for anything? Who do you think you are judging other people in the comment section? What have you done for the Philippines? You're not only JUDGEMENTAL of other people, you're also IN DENIAL of actual facts.

      lot of Filipinos just wants to go abroad to earn more, believe me if there is only opportunity to earn more in PH no one wants to be away. Once you live in abroad you will realize still better to live in PH if you have money. I live in US now and its snow sometimes here in CA. cold weather not fun because you havent experience it.. same in CA when its summer its so hot but not humid

    Filipinos in the Philippines are more tolerant towards black people. Japanese are more conservative
    Filipinos are more compassionate, nice, friendly, and more aware of other cultures and more Westernize. Japanese culture is more monoethnic , they want uniformity, a black person will be overlooked & outcast or stereotyped
    and being discriminated. Some Filipinos are also discriminatin but only a minority.

    I have to correct you with your analysis why you have to undergo with caesarian section, maybe the doctor found some issues that you cannot deliver normally due to CPD (CEPHALOPELVIC DISPROPORTION) is a condition where the baby has trouble getting through the birth canal because of the size of the baby's head, the baby's position, or the size or shape of the mother's pelvis. The baby's head might be too large, or the mother's pelvis might be too small, or both. Giving birth especially caesarian section is really expensive. I gave birth to my 4 children by caesarian section. Meaning I can't give birth normally. Just saying. A nurse here.😁

    Our country is always good to everybody’s and we welcome anybody. In supermarkets we Filipino works not hamihami i mean everything is rush like in the Middle East. It is normal for us to have some chat and chit but it is not a waste of time , unlike in western countries have a toxic attitude every minutes of the day.. Only in the Philippines you will not experience toxic attitude of the people instead they will
    Smile in return for respecting everybody fairly....

      As a Filipino customer, chit chatting while serving people is impolite. You value your relaxed time, but do not value the time spent by your kapwa Filipino waiting for the chit chatting to stop so you can attend to her.
