These tutorials by Matt are as exciting as a new episode from your favourite series. Matt your workflow and advice helped immensly with my uni work and I also build a Pro Tools film Template based on yours. Now with horror sound design, Christmas came early. Keep posting more please and give Matt a pay rise!

Always pumped when I see these videos come out as there is always something worthwhile, can't wait to check it out fully later...since I should be working right now.

love this tutorial thank you, I've been using a program called Beatmaker3
i'm exporting sounds created there over to the Video editing program, I think I'm gonna have to start recording sounds.

15 minutes in and my mind is blown by the command/control shortcut to temporarily go into slip mode from grid mode. Seriously! I've been using Pro Tools for almost 15 years and I'm constantly learning new tips and tricks. Thanks! (The rest of the video was awesome too btw :) )

Pro Sound Effects you guys have really good stuff in your libraries..the cores and hybrids are really good stuff. Would like to see matt design something action wise from one of these libraries. Keep up the good work!

I actually would like to see how to organize the dialogue tracks as well, not just mixing.

I have tons of dialogue editing experience. The thing to remember is its not one size fits all. You have to train your ears to what sounds bad and know instinctively what to do. Dialogue editing is not sound design.

Thanks for sharing with us! Love to see how sound designer work!
Have a question that confuses me for a while...
How do you know what is on track if only naming BG1 S1, Sfx1 S1? (with these massive tracks when searching and want to make a little tweak after)

Do you print your reverbs / send fx before mix or are they kept as real time processing throughout mix as well?

Hay, we have filmed a horror pilot that we plan on present to some networks. The thing is that the pilot needs sound design and mixing. I you are interested in help us, please tell me.
