    Thank you for your help. What great ideas! I take care of my 1 yr. old grandson. When it's time to leave a preferred activity, I sing the same song every time. (Most people will not know this old song, It's the old Mickey Mouse Club goodbye song. "Now it's time to say goodbye to all our -----") He didn't understand all the words when he was very young but he recognized the tune. This has helped us. Hope it helps others.

    Thank you, this is really helpful! We struggle with a lot of transitional time at the moment. We’ve just started using a ‘now and next’ communication board to try and signpost that we are moving on to something else because the meltdowns are so bad. We’re still trying to embed that so hopefully that’s an extra thing that could help.
