Yes!!! I love the way you presented this information. As the parent of a child with autism and a neurodivergent individual myself I thank you for the way you have presented this information. Medical models are outdated and broken. They truly know very little of the brilliance and beauty of this way of being. We have so far to go still but it’s reassuring that the conversation is definitely changing. Thank you.

With the gradual using of dr Oyalo herbal recommendation for autism, whom I met on TH-cam, my son is totally free from Autism with his speech cleared and social skills ok as he now respond to orders and act right.

I'm curious - what would you add or change? Whilst videos can't be edited once they're uploaded, the conversations we have are a dynamic thing. I'm always learning and unlearning. Let me know your thoughts!

Great video! Instead of social communication difficulties the Autism Education Trust describes 'areas of difference' which I think is quite a positive way of looking at the traits that people with autism display. Also thinking of autism as a very broad spectrum where those differences may be incredibly subtle or quite pronounced.

I'm autistic. Start with noise canceling headphones / earbuds in loud enviroments, and pump in music you find enjoyable / soothing to create a pleasant and predicable sonic environment. Avoid fluorescent lights and glare. Wear a hat with a visor and sunglasses outdoors. Overhead light is the worst, soft indirect light is the best. Remove tags from clothing that rests against skin. Seek fabrics that are soft. Avoid smelly places. Carry a fidget toy. Don't eat food you don't like.
Learn what your specific sensory challenges are and respect them. Support yourself

My son is 2 with autism, when I take him outdoors for example to the park I can’t get him to leave without a full scale meltdown often lasting half hour or more. He has no speech so looking for advice. X

Hi Bryony, this video has been so helpful! I work in PSCN and your explanation of double empathy really helped me. A situation I regularly come across in nurseries is that they try to get the autistic child to sit at snack and circle time and I'm aware this could be a very stressful time for a child with autism. Do you have any advice on this problem?

Hey Vicky. Lots to say on this! For now, I'd want to ask the people around the child: Why? What's your reason for trying to get the child to sit at snack? A why really helps us tune in to the many factors within a busy pre-school setting and opens up more of a conversation.
