I wanna find locations like this in my area 😧 I live in AZ and all we have is rocks... I feel like being the clutz I am I will take a tumble with my camera lol
Flagstaff, Sedona, Grand Canyon, Page, Williams theres plenty of winter wonderland places in AZ. Sequoias in CA aren't too far away either.
Have you ever shot with mirrorless cameras as im considering moving from DSLR to a Mirrorless system either Fuji XT or Sony A7 series?

The other people at the lake may have been crabby about your picking wildflowers. In many public parks/lands it is illegal. Now if those were weed species, no one is going to get upset if they know the difference. Cheers!
Those weren't weed species and that was a national park with regulation against flower picking. So much for being environmentalists...
Doug, if those were not weeds, then can you tell us which species or genus they are? They look very much like a couple of invasive daisies from Europe.
Park service regulations read "no picking flowers". I'm pretty sure these folks couldn't tell if they were invasive, nor gave a darn either way. And then there is the issue of throwing debris around a park site and laughing about annoying other visitors. It is totally unprofessional no matter how you paint it. Or photograph it.
Sounds like you are telling me you don't know if those are native wildflowers or noxious weeds.
I know exactly what they are, and that is a mix of the two. I'm also saying that the regulation is against picking flowers in the park because most only see flowers and not weeds. Picking encourages more picking and teaches a new generation not to respect the parks. I'm also saying that throwing flowers all over a picturesque lake and laughing because others trying to take vacation pictures are offended is a sign of unprofessional behaviour and immature use of the park system.

A tip for the bts videos when you have uneven surfaces like rocks: Gorillapod. Cheap and super awesome, I use it for so many things and situations! :)

hI beautiful work. Do you use a polarizing or ND filter when you shoot? How do you shoot backlight in such low aperture and harsh sunlight without blowing out the sky??

Hi Irene. I'm new to your channel I really love the BTS videos and tutorials you post. I also have a Canon Mark III which I'm new with. I was wondering what AF you use? Your photos come out really well at low apertures and I love shooting low too. But I'm finding it hard to work with my Canon and get all details in focus lol any help or tips would be most appreciated ^^ thanks Irene for the awesome videos :)

what a beautiful job, a consultation please I have problems with my lens focus equal 85 mm 1.2. Is there any way to calibrate it?
Yes. Go to Canon service and they will do it for you. On other hand - it is tricky to achieve good focus at 1.2. Requires experience.
So your lens might be just fine.

I love your behind the scenes videos and your pics are lovely. Seriously inspires me to get out and shoot more. I was wondering how long you were shooting this day? Was this an all day thing? Did you only shoot near golden hour?
we started around 2 pm and came back at maybe 10pm. But it takes around 2 hours to get the the location we were shooting at
+Irene Rudnyk ok that makes sense with the mountains casting shadows and it being Summer. Love your work. I decided to splurge on an 85mm lens. Ive been wanting one forever and can't wait to try it out. I also love seeing how you use your locations. Gives me new ideas on how to use my own locations better. Thank you!
