The contrast of white surf, black sand, tanned model, white lace gown and the water made a great photo shoot. So envious........
Plus the model seemed quite tall as she made Irene appear to be 9 year old ! Ha

Irene with all honesty, I am not a fan of black sand for my picture taking because I don't see beauty with it. We have a lot of white sands here in our country. Seeing this makes me inspired to try this. You are one of the best! ♥️♥️♥️♥️ I always love watching your videos. I get a lot of inspirations with settings of cam and all that.

Why would you get discouraged about not using flash?
@@IreneRudnyk I live in an area where there are predominantly Male photographers that use flash. I love my work as it is but I somewhat feel pressured to do what they're doing for people to take me more seriously. It's pretty annoying when everyone says, "oh, you don't use a flash... xyz did my shoot with flash" (also the people that think equipment equals talent)
I'm sure I'll be able to ignore it soon.
@@jrdesigns95 never, never feel pressured by other peers! People who feel the need to tell someone if they're doing something "wrong" are not satisfied with their own, so the want to fell better about themselves by putting someone down. You will never truly love your work unless you do it for yourself only!
If I had a penny every time someone told me I will not make money if I don't use flash, or that my work would be better with flash I would be rich haha.

GIRL! First of all love it! Secondly I am seriously shooting with the exact same set up as you but can never seem to get as tack sharp images as you are! Are you shooting single point focus? I'd love a bit of advice.

Do you use auto white balance or create a custom setting for each shoot or do you adjust it in editing? You're work is beautiful.
When I shoot I adjust kalvins, and then more white balance adjustments in camera raw if needed

Irene, your videos and photographs were the deciding factor on my section of the Canon EF 50mm f.1.2L USM lens. Love your work.
Great work in this location with your model. Curious are you shooting in manual or a priority exposure mode? I usually use manual mode.

These are so beautiful, Irene! I absolutely love the photos! How did you deal with the sea spray? When I shoot on the beach, I get a nice coating of salty film on my lens filters that's really hard to remove.
I don't use really deal with it in any way, besides just trying not to dip my camera in the water haha :)
