I'll start the 'what's going on' conversation: I'm currently reading Goodnight From London, and I'm watching a Kdrama called The Spies That Loved Me. By the end of the week, I'll be finished with it, and I'll either start watching Heart Beat or A Million Little Things, I haven't decided.
I like your video's welcome to author tube :) I am a writer as well so I understand the struggles. I write by hand into a notebook and then transcribe my chapters into word at the end of the week. I have recently used the notes feature on my iPhone and then emailed the text to my g-mail to then be ported into word if that makes sense. I was just too tired one day to sit ay my desk and type, so the phone hack is great. It's all about getting the words into that first draft to edit later. I hope you're having a great day!
It does make sense, and it's a good idea since it gives you multiple save points. Always a good thing to have backups in case of catastrophe! I miss having word on my desktop but I'm not in a hurry to spend money to get it when Google drive is free. I do also take notes on my phone (I'm android but it's the same concept). I need to get back into handwriting parts, though. I like how it makes me more purposeful with my words. Editing seems a little easier after a handwriting session. Thanks for your warm welcome, and I hope you're also having a great day!
I've used Google Drive as well on a Samsung, but the problem I have had is that I keep getting a reoccurring message saying that it can't do any grammar corrections because the document is too long. I don't care if it can't. I will edit on my laptop at a later time. But the message is constant and prevents me from seeing what I'm typing. Which is super annoying and makes editing later much harder than it should be. Have you ever encountered this? I wish I could turn the message off and just type. Using my phone is such a nice option when I'm in a situation with some spare time but can't use my laptop. Thanks for the great video! Keep up the good work.❤
I haven't had that issue before, but i think my longest completed project on there is only like 98k. About the only suggestion I have is to check the settings and see if there's some sort of sensitivity you can change on the grammar correction setting, or if you can turn it off while you're on the phone? Unfortunately, every time I get hung up on tech stuff I tend to toss it at my husband and let him fix it, so I'm not sure what troubleshooting there is to do on it.
@@Jmcpeekwrites I've had the problem with way less than 98k words.😢 I'll check the settings. It is so annoying! Thank you so much for the response! You've got a new subscriber. ❤️
@AFM848 awwz thanks 😊 I did ask my husband for his thoughts and without seeing the issue, all he would think for you to try is to clear your cache and data on google, then restart your phone. He also said you may have to turn off the grammar check setting on your desktop as well, so when you go on your phone it doesn't try to transfer? Idk that part confused me, but those were his suggestions.
I absolutely love your intro. La la la, clicky keyboard noises
Thanks!

@@Jmcpeekwrites thank you so much! And thanks to your husband too. I'll try his suggestions.
@AFM848 hope they work for you!
