One time my mom woke me up in the morning for school, but I fell back asleep like right after. Except, I was thoroughly convinced that I was awake, because I was dreaming that I got up, brushed my teeth, put on my uniform, and was about to leave the house. Like, this was all a dream, but I thought it was really happening. Long story short, I was late for school and my mom yelled at me.
Once I dreamt that I woke up, got ready and went to school. I remember that it was extremly stressfull day. I had 6 classes including politics class with the professor we all hated, croatian class in which we wrote like 3 pages of notes and economy class with the strict professor who that day had random oral exams and after all of that a double period of gym class until 3 pm. So I finally got on the bus get off on my stop walk home and it's 4 pm and I am done and in that moment I woke up. I basiclly had to live that day twice. I woke up tired.

Well as far as i'm concerned that 'falling' thing happens when the rhythm of your body slows down too fast! Like you know how your blood starts to run slower and the amount of hearts beats in a minute decreases when you sleep? So when the transition to that stage happens to suddenly your brain starts to panic and think you're dying so it's trying to wake you up ASAP! and that's why you feel like falling and you wake up all stressed!
I am convinced I've made my e world inside my dreams because I always go to those places and it looks like the real world but warped to what I want it to be and for some reasons I have superpowers sometimes like flying is the most common and it feels great.

You forgot one: The plot dream. It's based off of events in real life and it has a coherent story line and it's so easy to remember but it's not realistic.
Omg yes :D Usually these dreams are mixing with the wtf dreams for me :D For example: I'm in my dorm, and there is a zombie apocalipse, but we have to go to the lesson, so we pick up our guns, and shooting the zombies on our way to the uni.... xD Or I'm in my dorm again, but it looks completely different all the time, but the most common thing is that the stairs are always super long (but at least it always looks amazing :D)

I had a dream where... Yknow the "A potato flew around my room" vine? I WAS THE POTATO. And I had this really long complicated past because like my family had died and I was the only potato in the fire clan left or something... Once when I was around 7 or 8 I lost my copy of Pokemon and I needed to find it before I went to bed. My parents " insisted" that I should go to bed and they'll find it in the morning. Omg yes :D Usually these dreams are mixing with the wtf dreams for me :D For example: I'm in my dorm, and there is a zombie apocalipse, but we have to go to the lesson, so we pick up our guns, and shooting the zombies on our way to the uni.... xD Or I'm in my dorm again, but it looks completely different all the time, but the most common thing is that the stairs are always super long (but at least it always looks amazing :D)

I had a dream where... Yknow the "A potato flew around my room" vine? I WAS THE POTATO. And I had this really long complicated past because like my family had died and I was the only potato in the fire clan left or something... Am I the only person who dreams about doing homework, goes to school convinced they did the homework, then pulls out said homework, and I didn't even start it. You can replace homework with dishwasher, laundry, room cleaning, cooking, shopping, texting, anything. Anyone else? 😅😅😅😁😁😁😅😅😅😅😁

I had the falling dream when I was sleeping on my bed, and I was actually falling off my bed so I think the falling dream is when your body senses your falling so it gives you a dream and wakes you up.

I have falling dreams but I sleep on a mattress on the floor so if I were to fall I would fall about 15cm but it still is the most terrifying thing because my cat sleeps beside my bed so I would be shredded

I had a dream where I was running through a old house of mine with the two Minecraft storymode characters and we where being chased by this giant snake. We went into the bathroom and they ran out and I was peeing and then the snake somehow appeared above my head and shot down at me with its mouth open wide. I woke up just before it ate me and my bed was wet.
