I've been using this app for almost two years on two different pixel phones. Now I use it on my Xiaomi F21 Pro. Totally worth the purchase. It's done wonders for my mental health. I'm on my way to just using a full-on feature phone now, just deciding on the light phone or Punkt phone.
Why you are not buying a feature phone then ? Really curious, weighing the two options.
@@jain-wt2ou I would say that I've been weaning myself off of over a decade of smartphone habits. So my f21pro with the minimalist phone app has been a great transitioning device. I also want to have an aesthetically pleasing feature phone which are a bit pricy haha

Hi. I recently bought minimalist phone subscription. All the money is worth it. But I am facing one issue. In settings, *Automatically set matching lock screen background *
Despite enabling the above option, my lock screen remains the old one. I want launcher given lock screen interface as shown in your video at 00:01.

Does it save battery life
This app only requires one payment of 25 dollars. That may sound like a bit of money to some, but then there's the light phone 2 for 300 FUCKING DOLLARS.

Thank you for your feedback - there are some very affordable options, e.g. 1year of full version for roughly the price of one lunch (depending on your location). Considering the time you save by not being on your phone this is extremely good value. Also, minimalist phone is more than a launcher - it has several features to reduce the screen time - such as in-app time reminder, app blocking and hiding, notification filter and a monochrome mode.

There's a buying option for 8 hundred for life time which seems expensive , my question is that with newer versions of Android releasing every year , will the app too update to keep its features working properly ?

Hello there! Unfortunately this does work for most of the people. Sure you will then have no addictive apps on your phone, but you will miss all the useful apps such as your favorite messanger, maps, spotify and so one. This makes most people eventually go back to smartphone. Also if you install minimalist phone instead of buying another phone you don't produce any new electronic trash.

Hello there! There are 3 plan options in the app: monthly, yearly, and for everybody who doesn't like subscription also a one-time purchase option. All 3 with trial.

Hi! We can help with that. Few quick tips: organize your important apps by adding them to personalized folders for quick access. For this, Long press on the app > Add to Folder > Name the folder > Add folder to favorites and access it on the home screen. Alt: do a quick search in all apps: Settings > Home screen > automatically open keyboard. BR, mp!
I purchased it fully but i have a doubt. Does it save battery life and if i buy a new phone, how can i access it since i did a one time purchase.

You can easily transfer your account to the other phone by simply logging in to the Play Store with the same gmail account and Download minimalist phone. How to delete this app???
It's difficult I had a tough time. Go to display settings in this app and switch to default wher the icons will show up again. After that go to settings and app and uninstall it. The problem is this app hijacks your freedom 😂

I used the app it's awesome one thing i would say is just let people use the app for 7 days without any process of registering (which you guys have rn) let them try it and then ask for the payment.I'm telling you what i have personally observed the app is good but people don't know it is good until they try it
And second thing ,the ad that you guys promote on youtube in that the girls say "3 ways the minimalist phone help you save time"well the problem with me was for 5 months i thought it was literally a phone that you need to buy(I'm sure alot of people thought that) rather then an app that you can install so would say clarify that in your ad.

Yes definitely! With the minimalist phone app you can easily get into focus mode by blocking apps, hiding apps and using the In-App Time Reminder settings.

Hello there, if you want to uninstall minimalist phone the easiest option is to open "Play Store" on your phone, find minimalist phone and select Uninstall.
You can also go to minimalist phone settings (gear wheel on page with all apps) -> More -> Exit to uninstall the app.

Hello. We have switched the app from freemium to paid with free trial few months ago but we kept all previous users on the freemium version so that they can keep using it.
However, as there are no accounts on minimalist phone, if you reinstall the app or install the app on new phone you will start with the paid version as everybody else.

Unfortunately iOS doesn't allow this level of customisation so there is no iPhone version available or planned. For now it's only for Android.
How do i delete the minimalist app
Just search settings and go to Apps and then you can search minimalist phone and delete it

@@minimalistphone One thing I can tell you that I was an Instagram addict. But I just uninstalled it and it's been 70 days and my screen time is reduced completely. I'm back to normal without Instagram. So here the point is it's your will power to resist from addiction. Even this app doesn't work if a individual doesn't have will

the entire "digital detox" stuff imo doesn't actually work. we have devices for a reason and for each of us its different whether its for school, work or personal or all of it we can put the social apps in folders and off the main screen to keep them out of site and keep the important apps up front so we can stay focused more on that and do what we need then put the phone away or just have self control which I don't get why most of you don't have.
Or just buy a button phone at this point

I'm not exactly sure but someone said this could be a malware app. I don't disagree after the response from this team, it was absolutely atrocious. they didn't even say its not. they said it's "safe and regular" which is not admitting that it's on a malware app. if it wasn't a malware app, they would say it's not a malware app instead of using vague language and then immediately telling someone if they don't like it they can delete it... like a child who doesn't get his way. massive redflags. not to mention you're literally paying an app to tell you not to use your apps. do yourself a favour and exert self control on a daily basis instead of relying on apps to do so for you.
