    For the draws, i think you are using old-school techniques. In both draws, i believe your paddle shaft should be more vertical, your blade should be deeper in the water, and your top elbow should be lower than your shoulder. In your classic draw, your top hand should be pushing out as your low hand pulls in, and you shouldn't be lifting your blade out of the water. In your sculling draw, you should be using torso rotation for extra power.

We do go into detail about all of the points you have raised looking at the pros and cons of different variations to the strokes. We have lessons on shaft angle, what each hand does during the strokes, how upper body is important and the path of the blade.
